  • If you listen in the backround there is a cyclone and a t-128. You can very feightly hear them....

  • Here's my theory on the growl. If you watch any video of a 2001 doing a growl, it rotates for a few seconds then stops while the chopper spins up a little bit. Perhaps with the radio upgrade, it was wired up to do basically the same thing only with the blower and rotator wired together and the chopper separately.

  • @thecompanycar cool, thanks for the info

  • That's stupid that GPW decided to do growl first then do the actual test.

  • @Siren1000T1 not to mention 15 minutes after 1pm, at least GPW wasnt stupid enough to replace this thunderbolt

  • @amtrak3501 Didn't they also install two new 2001s in the city as well?

  • @Siren1000T1 only 130 i saw was at city hall. if there is a 2nd one, no idea where it is.

  • @amtrak3501 Well anyways, GPW doesn't need another siren cause that area seems to have plenty of siren sound coverage already.

  • @Siren1000T1 GPW only got one 2001 and the radio upgrade on the T-bolt.

  • It still sounds great! Wonder why they tested the blower and chopper seperately at first.

  • @carexpertandy no idea, but bizarre. it was 1:06 when the "growl", then alert at around 1:15

  • With all the fame it's gotten, someone should save it when it's decommissioned. Nice video regardless.

  • @JustInn014 thanks.no doubt about that, along with the Salter Park tbolt
