@kawiracer351 Thanks for commenting, yes its got a good thump and the deer feel it before they dump on the ground lol lol. You should do a video on yours, I would love to see other peoples 35's. Thank You. Joe
@JoeandZachSurvival i might sometime, but i barely shoot it because the ammo is like $2.00 a shot! lol. and ive only shot one deer in my whole life, and that was with a muzzeloader. but i love hunting! just don't have much time to go :/
I had a Marlin 336, 30-30 caliber...it was a great gun, especially for hunting in the brushy areas around here..much lighter than the 30.06 I have now!
@ibmoosed Next Saturday at this time which is 8:33 AM my time, I will either be gutting a deer, walking over to one of the kidses stands or my Dads to help them gut a deer or I will be just starting to get the chills from sitting in my stand for 2 and a half hours and not moving around. Usually about now is when your looking at all the clothes you have on and are wondering how long you can wait to pee because its so much work to get through all the clothes to do your thing lol lol 7 days: )
My papaw had one of those. I always thought it was a 30-30 until recently when my uncle told me it was a .35. They all had .35's back then and did pretty good with the deer. I saw a nice 6 point this evening, had it about 15 yards away and turned the camera on to film and he split. I'm still not hunting, just nature watching. LOL! I was going to take my bow out and changed my mind at the last minute.
@MiWilderness Still lots of time left in the season, but that 6 point would have made alot of delicious jerky : )
The 35 I have like I said I got when I was 14, it was my Grandfathers and my Dad has one too, they bought them at the same time so its true, they were quite popular back then. I dont shoot it much anymore but its always along. Once I shoot my deer, and I am party hunting on the kidses tags
i love my 35! but it has a pretty good thump to it lol

I am not familiar with this rifle. What caliber is this?
wrght9185 4 months ago
@wrght9185 The round you buy is called .35 Remington, but the gun is made by Marlin, its a .35 Marlin lever action deer rifle.
JoeandZachSurvival 4 months ago
@JoeandZachSurvival Judging from the sound & recoil, it looks like that caliber would smack 'em pretty good.
