Judging by the lack of response from the maker of this video I think we must assume it is a 'wind-up'. Having spent some time trolling the internet for answers it is strange that NOBODY else has succeeded using the eye-fi card, with an adapter, in the D700. I think our best hope is that eye-fi themselves come out with a card that fits.

If you're shooting Nikon, the only real solution is a Nikon wireless transmitter, model WT-4A - but it costs just around $700 I personally haven't used one, but I hear people saying it's slow, and for the cost it's really not worth it.

The range is okey , I would like to transfer the .nef / .jepg to ipad/iphone via this suit instead of cable after I have time to take a break while I am traveling.Do you have any advice for me~?
It did work, but the range was horrible. I guess the eyefi being encased in the CF adapter, which is then encased in your camera really cuts the range down significantly. I couldn't get more that 3 feet away from my router with it.

It doesn't matter what adapter he's using anyway as the range sucks ass. I had an adapter that fit in my D700 and the range was about 3 feet at best. I'll try and find the adapter and post details about it here.
Please let us Know, what Adapter u use and where have u got it from. I only Found the type2 Adapters for cf. Nikon d700 Users Need the type1 to make the cf Adapter fit to the socket..
