By large however one country had a defnitive intention to suppress cambodians and take their land. The Khmers rouge committed atrocities but Vietnam intentions is why the Khmer rouge were able to be supplied by china's weapons. Only one country only took posiions that were always bad for the cambodian people and that is vietnam. Pol Pot was DEFINITELY A RACIST. To deny otherwise is pure ignorant.  How do I know? Just about the entire side of my mom's family were killed, because they have Khmer blood mixed with Chinese and Vietnamese blood in them. They had mostly "Khmer blood", but because they were light skin and can speak Chinese or Vietnamese, and owned businesses, they were slaughter. My father's side was spared, because he was pure Khmer.
