When I was a little girl, I used to imagine Davy was singing this song just to me. I have so many of these pictures in a scrapbook somewhere. The picture of him looking to the side, no shirt, beads, pirate hat, was on my wall at eye level right next to my bed for about 2 years. Sigh... Goodbye Davy. : (

This is a very nice and touching video tribute for Davy. He was a wonderful performer. I fell for him as a pre-teen, good looks, great voice and that lovely accent. And those dance moves! I will miss him always. R.I.P. dear Davy. There must be one hell of a band in heaven... :(

In a great scene the young man's father says to his son, "David, you've got to get over her(Brook Shields). I remember my first love and I never thought I could it could happen again. But David I really love this woman." (The father was in the process of divorcing his wife, the young man's mother.). Another film, "My Sister's Keeper" is about Leukemia.
