i agree, our old ballpark in Columbus (Cooper Stadium) wasn't the most comfortable, but it did the job. Truth, as a ballpark enthusiast, i liked Fenway. I liked the giant Citgo sign, the old scoreboard and being able to say i have been there. I really hope this old park stays alive because not many are left.....this would have been its 100th season......

And sure enough I loved the atmosphere compared to yankee stadium which is dirty as hell whil at fenway park fans are nice and funny as hell and it's cleaner. I especially love the songs there. I went to the bosox game 9/14 for the first time in my life. It was a great experience. Singing sweet caroline and eating fenway franks was great to do. On 9/13 I went to see the yankees play and it was great but Boston was so much fun. I'm from Cali and this trip was by far the best. I recommend everyone go to Boston and enjoy themselves. If the Dodgers and Boston go to the world series. I'm fucking going.

I have been asking that question since the late 90's and still haven't found out. I was talking to a couple of Sox fans, from Boston, at a game in Toronto and they don't even know.

The woman who decides what music to play was a Neil Diamond fan. She chose this song, and the crowd got into it just like at one of Diamonds concerts, so the song stuck.
