  • I was watching an old tape i found in a box. Somebody tried to repair the tape with some scottch tape (Looks like it was a hillbilly splice job) as soon as the "Scottch Tape Splice" Came around my screen went fuzzy. I have sound but a snowy picture. Any advice will be appreciated.

  • whats the point to cut the video short? LOL

  • how can i set it up to channel 3 or 4???

  • @flower09857 I'm not part of the VCR management game, but I think it's called a switch in the back of the VCR that you can set the VCR signal out to Channel 3 or 4, and you have to put Channel 3 or 4 on the TV as well.

  • What happens if the VCR doesn't have a Traker OR a timer???

  • thanks

  • should title it " only for the Dumbest of the Dumb Dumbs "

  • what a waste of time!

  • Is there anyway to repair a tape that's degraded from time and use?

  • i have prob with video im trying 2 convert them to dvd when i put tape in to vcr i always have to adjust tracking nothing works got vcr head cleaning tape still nothing i only get a clear picture from a new blank tape that i rec onto from the tv please help

  • This is not a video for sophisticated users.

  • Well, put first a "virgin" tape to check if it damage the tape... If you have a broken timing gear or blocked brake, it will damage it.

And use scart/péritel or rca composite output rather than the RF unit output.

  • i have a really good one with a huge motherboard that i heard was really nice... but... it dosn't turn on
