brynhildr is a Valkyrie under odins command and he told her to choose between to kings and she picked the one odin didn't like so he burns her alive.....just so u know alittle bit about her and thats why she got fire power.

They should have made ifrit as an eidolon. I mean since the very beginning, he's with shiva. Or they could have made another ice eidolon instead of shiva so it will be fair for ifrit.

Did you only play FF8? Because Doomtrain and Quetzacoatl were never part of the original.

Ramuh has been the lightning summon in almost every FFs except X where he was replaced by Ixion (I'm not counting 12 because in this one they used the espers of tactics as it was supposed to be in the World Ivalice)

But I still agree that Ifrit and Leviathan should have been in this one.

And maybe they should have included some more like Carbuncle, Titan etc

I like my final fantasy series as much as the next guy, but this summon is so lame. come on, attacking by peeling out on the monster and doing donuts? I hope the rest of the game isn't as poorly thought out and corny.

I love Brynhildr But i don't like the fact she turns into a car. I never liked the sound of that right when i first got the game. I was just unimpressed by it. I don't mind it, and i will have fun using it, but i am not a huge fan of it. I like the shiva bike though:)

There are a total of 20 summons in the game but only 6 are playable. Other summons that are seen are NPC.

so far there are only 6 summons that I saw from FFXIII trailers, is that all? I mean only 6? thats cheap.... but how about Ifrit, sivran and carbuncle they dont look like transformer r they playable or just to be shown in through out the game, but seriously is it only 6 summons?

FF4 only had a few summons, a dozen tops by the end (only half of them usable at that point).

Same with FF5.

FF6 had tons of summons! But once you learned abilities from them, they mostly went to the backburner.

FF7 and 8 did have LOTS of summons, sure.

FF9 only had like 10 summons.

FF10 had only 5 mandatory summons, and 3 optional.

FF12 had 13 summons, but only 2-4 of them were useful by the end, and that's only if players even bothered to use them.

6 sounds just fine.
