great lesson much help for myself but please please some1 or urself please post the strumming pattern, i kno every1 says its easy bla bla just listen bla bla, iv done that so many times and im almost there but could do with that final bit of help.. i think that 6000 of the views are me tryin to crack this one.. remember we all have to start somewhere.. thanks again great video
I agree your tuts are more helpful than anything else ive come across in learning myself , this is one of the best tutorials this being because the song always seemed very advanced but i can play this near perfect within an hour of watching this vid, great ! keep up the good work mate!
Great as usual ! At the moment i'm learning and i have borrowed a couple of guitars. An acoustic and a semi acoustic. I'm looking to buy a guitar soon myself and i'm stuck. I read it is best to buy the guitar simular to the artist you most want to play. I'm a big Oasis fan but like coldplay and many others. Any tips ?
hello mate, i think the best guitar for you would be the same as the one i'm using. its an epiphone j200, noel gallagher used to use one in the early days but he's using a gibson j200 now which costs about £2500. the epiphone is about £200 - £250 and it sounds really simular to the gibson model. richard ashcroft from the verve still uses one for performances. have a search on google and see whats on offer mate.
Thanks a lot for the advice. I thought it was an epiphone or gibson he was using but wasn't sure which. I was watching the definitely maybe album dvd recently. If you watch the documentry part it talks about producing the album etc. Noel says for one of the songs someone brought a les paul down and the song just wrote itself. Also how i think "married with children" was wrote in half hour sitting on someones bed, lol. Thanks again.
great tutorial, really helped had to really slow the vid down to get b7 as i'm too lazy to look it up. Guitar and your playing sounds awesome(really clear). "Wicked tune, well played"
hey tbone,.thanks alot for your videos man, they're really clear and help a beginner out alot !! better than most tutorials on youtube. that's being a true Oasis fan,.spreading the music. haha
Hey man you really seem to nail down the small intricacies of Noel's strum patterns. Got any tips for a total beginner in identifying those kind of things?
hi playcube, the best thing to do mate, is listen to the original recordings over and over again, and then you'll hear the pattern and over time it will just come natural. Or even easier is just to watch videos like this to give you a helping hand. good luck with it and thanks for subscribing, james.

Good tutorial! For better sounding chords I would use for Fmaj7 x33210 and for B7 x21202, though. :) Little harder to play but not much.
