does anyone have a full length copy of this ? the only production that I've seen is the '73 Lee Marvin, but I'm getting into O'Neil's plays and it's damn near impossible to find these on DVD...I'd love to find this production...anyone ?

I've heard of Robards' Hickey for nearly 30 years. None of that prepared me for this.. Robards was TRANSFORMED by this role. Now, he was a fine actor in many, many roles. His recreation of Jamie in the film of "Long Day's Journey" remains wrenching But this part takes Robards into another damn DIMENSION (I'm speaking of ALL these excerpts). The kinescope captured the perfect marriage of actor and role. And my LORD, how fortunate we are to have these videos:)) --
