Villarte, you don't seem to be getting it. Sungha owns multiple guitars, but he has never used his classical guitar to play and post on youtube. Do you understand? What if I asked you to walk with one leg? You would have asked "Why?" I feel the same way. You're supposed to use an amplifier when you play fingerstyle. Period.

Villarte, it is pretty much a standard to use an amplifier and some special sound effects in fingerstyle guitar playing. Sungha is not playing the classical guitar here, and you know it. Your request is completely unreasonable.

Wow, everyone is so protective of their Sungha. Believe me, I think Sungha is the most talented guitar player on YouTube. I think he is a prodigy. He is incredible and an inspiration. I am amazed at his abilities every time I hear him play.

So when I originally asked if he could play his acoustic guitar without any reverb, echo, etc., I wasn't doubting that he could do it. I was just hoping that his father or instructor might have him record one or two songs that way. Is this really such an "unreasonable" request? I personally just really enjoy that clean acoustic sound that comes without amp effects. A microphone or quitar pick-up is fine, but just not all that reverb-echo stuff.

I don't know what Sungha and/or his dad might be using insofar as reverb or echo equipment is concerned.

However, if I were you, I wouldn't expect too much response to your request. The only comments they've made are repeated requests to withhold obscenities and racist remarks. They haven't had much luck. I wouldn't blame them if they quit, entirely.
