@JTextream its been over a year since i bought this bulb, it is still going strong and has paid for itself already. the money I have saved on my electric bill is amazing!! My whole house is now ran on led bulbs only since last year I have slashed my electric bill by 65 dollars, having kids who never know how to turn off the light, does not bother me anymore, because these bulbs are so much cheaper to use, check out my other cheaper led bulb videos on my channel

@BUZDRIFT yes only one is not that bright in the daylight but at night they are very bright,I have these in my bathroom and led bulbs i have in the rest of my house are as bright as a 40 watt light bulb, unless you are blind these are more than enough to see what I need to see and extremly cheap to run.

Yeah fair enough, the camera was probably compensating for the brightness. Is it a directional light or more like a standard light?

@BUZDRIFT depends how you use them, you could use them for what they are for, as a accent light, or get a adapter like I did and use it for a directional light and point it in any direction you want, you would be suprized to see how bright they are in complete darkness, like where i live it is so dark you cannot see your hand in front of your face, so any type of light looks extremely bright, check out my other LED light videos

@ledlightingking CFL uses a lot more than 3.5 wats..... This is only ment to replace a small 25w incandescent light bulb.

@Tro1086 CFL's are dangerous to use they have mercury in them, and this LED light is not meant to replace a 25 watt bulb, it is meant and used for me to use alot less electricity since changing all my bulbs to led's I have cut my electric bill Drastically, and since having 2 kids who never remember to turn off the light, I have less stress because i am still saving money compared to the 65 and 75 watt light bulbs I used to use

You can pick it up because its a small round (hard) ball that is only dangerous if ingested or throw into the trash. I have a class jar with CFL mercury blobs & I'm fit as a fiddle.

@johnson1095 well this cost about 12 cents to run a cfl bulb about 75 cents depending on the bulb, also cfl's have a dangerous chemical inside them, research it, my whole house has LED bulbs now. check out my channel for more LED bulb videos

it replaces any bulb, and it will cut your electric bill greatly. I have replaced all my bulbs in my house with led light bulbs and cut my bill $65.00, my kids always leave the lights on so this helps big time, also you are welcome.

Why are you using Chandelier LED Bulbs? They make LED globes for your bathroom fixture, though I would recommend daylight (full spectrum) CCFL for places like your bathroom, where you need bright light. LED bulbs still don't really perform well and they're cost is still to high to actually save you any money over CCFL. Give it another year or so, demand is rising and prices are falling.

@mikeatx79 ccfl have mercury in them and use to many watts, this bulb was cheap and is extremely bright for my bathroom, since I have kids they never turn the lights off after they use so it is very cheap to use much better than any ccfl bulb plus it has no mercury in it, and it last much longer than any ccfl bulb, and since i have changed all my lights in my house to led bulbs I have slashed my electric bill $65 dollars I have other Led bulbs video on my channel you can check out/

seriously that bulb is not dimmable in channderlier tat is so stupid. Going back to menards or its website and finding out. As they sometime have a sale on all lighting the next week after I look at it a week before.

so when I find that on a lowes website they will have the same package because I got 8 chanderlier light bulb exactly the same size in width and height and same original watts 25 watts. That good l.e.d also can cover chanderlier too. I have a mix trying out 2 dimmable L.E.D in 2 separate bedroom and the whole house has CFL. 17 CFL and 2 CFL standing lamp and 2 dimmable L.E.D all my bulbs are regular base not the small base.

@toad2039 no its a LED light bulb , it is compared to a indacasent bulb, the fins on the side are for cooling, I have had this for about 8 months still works great although the ones I got from Ace hardware are alot more cheaper and work just as good

@cuervo1957 I looked on the home depot web site and they have them there, they have one 8.6 watt that replaces a 40 watt and they have a 12 watt that replaces a 60 watt soft light buld and they have a flood led light bulb that is 15 watts and it replaces a 60 watt flood light the prices are $17.97, $39.97 and $39.97 or you canfind them on ebay also.
