A song is what you want it to be.. I think. If you want it to be about a God, a guy you like, a guy you hope to meet, your mother or your.. dog don't matter. I always hear a song in different ways; it depends on my mood and the situation. When I hear this song I now think of a guy that I really like, last year I would have thought of God maybe.. Not that I am very believing, but I lost my grandmother. And to me music makes things seem believable.

I actually listened to the story behind the song and Francesca talks about the fact that she wanted to write a song about her future husband that she hadn't met at that time. Great anyway to wait and then to receive this blessing from God. Love the song! :x
