Great fingers and nice chops but, you sacrifice staying in the groove for speed. Many times the composition is noisy and leaves the listener searching for the musical line.
@brothaman34 I like the sound of that box. Lives up to the claim of sounding like solid wood. I use D'darrio also. Mainly because they are more available. I do remember reading that the Tomastiks string tension is less then the D'darrio's. I have wondered if this would allow me to go a gauge heavier, but still keep the same feel as the lighter gauge. I guess there only one way to find out..lol!
