  • El mejor guitarrista del mundo.

  • why did michael shrieve looked so innocent back then? so cute.

  • Nossa ele melhorou muito com o passar dos anos!

  • woodstock bitches!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was there anyone remember the pink tents?

  • Thank God they had video cameras back then,, If they didn't we would have never felt this

  • P90 pickups forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Carlos is beautiful to listen to and so youg and beautiful to look at in this clip. I was 11 then. First heard the band in 1970. Fell in love.

  • wasn't it mescal? Read they weren't supposed to go on stage so they imbibed a bit that was a bit going around, ,but then to fill in a void (interminable delays)-roads jammed --then the trip kicked in and he did get concerned during the act (that the guitar was trying to writhe and get away from him. Music and improve turned out to be timeless at this gig though. Wow, just came back after seeing Mahavishnu in concert with 4th Dimension down in Santa Cruz few minutes ago, VERY heavy, ,very nice.

  • is this fake?

    looks like animation!!

  • @theflowerpotify wow rlly

  • santana was to busy mindfucking people with his guitar

  • was that an Epiphone P-94 that Santana Had?

  • @ox092 gibson man, gibson

  • @PILLOWofECHOES sorry about that. Santana would never use an intermediate brand lol.

  • hey check out my Drum cover of this, you can click on the blue username to view my profile-i have some jimmy hendrix and some Rush as well - along with drum solos.

  • The quality of the video is incredible Oo !!

  • anybody else think his bass player looks like a complete fucking boss?

  • @MindGames...lol. I saw Santana's interview and he spoke on the fact he kept his eyes closed because his guitar looked like a snake, and he still jammed. He has been very candid about his life. People should read up on some of the old skool artists. You'll learn fascinating things about them, sometimes.

  • TRAICIONERO!

  • just straight rocks that guitar

  • where did you get this footage? show more please

  • green day's manager performed with them

  • i wish led was at woodstock...

i wish i was at woodstock....

    i hate chris brown...

  • @AndreasZimmerman hahaha

  • The "worse off"

  • nice 36 seconds sng shorty where did u get it from?

  • Mescaline was not widely known outside cult religion circles, but it was still a well known hallucinogen nonetheless, known about amongst all us hippies in the late sixties. I ate the peyote & it was the most mindblowing trip EVER. better than any other dope I took at any other time. I learned how the mescaline was extracted also. Nothing in Carlos Casteneda's books can prepare one for his own "Journey to Ixtlan"

I went high as "Mescalito" came to visit!!!!

  • nah it was forure lsd not mescaline, back in those days people didnt know about mescaline and it was not extracted, you would only know about it if you were native american and you would only do it under a shamans guid so he can repair it (removing the centre peice because it is will kill you) secondly from my experience with san pedro mescaline is nothing at all like lsd or psilocybin comepletely different feeling and visuals you dont get bigger or small or wavy sight you get sparkles of colors

  • @mellowmushgrapetripp I wouldn't be quite sure about that, at the end of the sixties I think Peyote and San Pedro were actually known, why wouldn't they be... they been growing on the Earth for looong times, who knows he coulda gotten it from, Mescaline isn't hard to extract you just need to know a good way and lol practice, as for the effects, Mescaline is a more spiritual deep trip which can alter reality, my first trip ever was on Mescaline it was something made of liquid dreams of gold.

  • @md0206 It lasted for like 8 to 9 hours straight... a very complex and deep trip with life life hallucinations, open and closed eye wormholes it was too much to describe.

It made a mushroom trip look like a walk in the park.

  • @mellowmushgrapetripp according to santana himself, he was on mescaline and lsd at the same time, do a little research

  • @mellowmushgrapetripp Don't say if you don't know...

  • Just read on the net somewhere Eddie Krammer had the musicians come in the studio to record parts to this song. This is terrible , you want to hear authentic Woodstock material not over dubbed parts made in 2009.

  • AMAZING QUALITY

  • Yeah, AMAZING QUALITY!!!

  • off key and out of tune

  • Damn snakes....

  • lol

  • haha yeah

  • @MindGamesForAll something happened their

  • @MindGamesForAll hah lol..LSD

  • oh carlos was soooo tripping shit at woodstock here

  • There's an interview where he tells the person that was interviewing him that the neck on his guitar became a giant snake hahaha

  • wat happened to the rest of the footage

  • I don"t have a clue what that means, but cogratulations on a confusing comment!

  • haha this doesnt sound convincing at all. some stuff just doesnt match up. sounds like someone recorded a vocal and guitar track and laid it over the video.

  • the footage is from woodstock no doubt ,

  • rolie on your anus's world.

  • Hey where did you get this? It is supposed that Santana didn't play this song in the fest. Columbia released the complete concert of Santana in Woodstock about 5 years ago and this song is not in the list. Great seconds. Hope you can put it complete.

  • Sorry, There music is still Great stoned or not.

  • wow what a disrespectful comment.

the musicians who played at woodstock are some of the most renowned and accomplished musicians of all time.

their music is timeless, and that era shaped the music of today.

    what have you done?

  • @420jaymac

they're probably just a loser nurse and saved ten lives this week

or just a teacher, maybe just a garbage man, nothing important

not like these great men who stood up in front of heaps of people during some time and played music...

i love woodstock as much as you, but seriously, don't disrespect people just cuz they're not recognised on tv

  • @superkenalmighty ...I dont really know what you mean?? my comment was directed towards an individual who said the music at woodstock was talentless and everyone was just too stoned to realize it. I definitely did not disrespect workers in the field of health care or education. and televised recognition has nothing at all to do with it. your response is out of context, I think you misunderstood my response to a disrespectful comment.

  • @420jaymac - WTF?!? That era shaped what music of today? Hip-Hop? House? Punk? Grunge? Reggae? Heavy Metal?

Not exactly an accurate comment! I have called you on your sillyness, what have YOU done?

  • @pbl1 ..its funny how much of this music has shaped modern day music, as you say for example, hip-hop, punk, heavy metal ....i wonder how many hip hop djs has sampled a Sly and the Family Stone drum beat. I wonder how many punk or heavy metal guitar players grew up smoking a spliff listening to jerry garcia with The Greatful Dead or Hendrix, or how many metal and punk drummers have watched the maniac keith moon solo's over and over.........

  • @420jaymac : A few I'd imagine :) Look up the 'Amen Break' which is likely one of the most sampled beats of all time.

  • @pbl1 "WTF?!? That era shaped what music of today? Hip-Hop? House? Punk? Grunge? Reggae? Heavy Metal?"

Yes, that's right, just do your homework and you will know, music from the mid to late sixties shaped almost everything to come (noise rock, punk, heavy metal, electronica, you name it), and a few years later, in Germany, the rest was invented. And you mention certain styles as "music of today", ALL of those styles you mention are old styles, really old styles.

  • @420jaymac I herd that the acid stared kicking in right in the middle of a song & Mr Santana said he really had to concentrate because as he stared tripping his guitar turned into a big snake.. Like a magic music spirit aniimal...lots of love..Peace

  • @420jaymac there were some bands at woodstock that were not "most renowned and accomplished musicians of all time" I mean Carlos isn't one (imo).

  • @JimmyPage97 your right, thats a given, thats why I said "some of the most.." and i also agree with you, carlos isnt the most accomplished of all time. But he's had a music career thats lastest a lifetime, hes worked with an endless amount of great artists, any working musicians knows his name, as well as most fans of music. That in its self is an incredible accomplishment.

  • @420jaymac i suppose. Don't get me wrong, I love Carlos. My guitar teacher was like a fanatic of this dude, but to me the dude only had a few songs, a few awesome ones, but just a few.

  • @420jaymac Oh but I was saying Carlos isn't one of the musicians that isn't renowned.

  • @JimmyPage97 dude!!! Santana sold more than 100 million album copies to date! 10 grammys, grammy hall of fame, VH1 man of the year...and a list of awards thats frightenly long! look it up... when you say he is not "renowned" you are horribly misstaken pal.

  • @420jaymac when it comes to being "horribly mistaken pal" ... that would be you. But further I don't buy into the grammy's, or the vh1/mtv stuff.

  • @JimmyPage97 you cant argue with over 100 million albums sold, and an endless list of achievements & awards. like it or not those are the facts

  • @420jaymac I guess you missed the part where I called you "horribly mistaken pal." I think this is the third time but I totally agree, Santana was a freekin' Beast.

  • @420jaymac My only complaint is that he was only a beast for like what 12 good songs? if that

  • @JimmyPage97 lol, thats your opinion. he has written, co-written, and collabroated on more material than you can shake a stick at

  • @420jaymac of course thats my opinion. What are you looking for?

  • @420jaymac look at all the shity ass "musicians" in pop music though, I think you can't go by the awards and albums sold

but still I agree santana may not have been the best guitarist but he brought in a whole new style of guitar and innovated rock music

  • dude... i was there... ive seen most of them later and yes, they are AMAZINGGGG

sorry if i seemed disrespectful.... i love these guys and all their music!

  • wtf.... so your saying that none of the performers were great... to each his or her own ...but i think the rest of the world disagrees with you...bitch

  • nooo thats not what im saying! sorry for the misunderstanding guys :/

most of the performers at woodstock were and went on to be really great musicians, many of whom i still listen to all the time. no disrespect meant.

  • @cecisota12 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOUR AN IDIOT!!!!!!! most music if not all music at woodstock was amazing, and they all KNOW what they are doing, unlike today's artists such as kesha and little wayne, they no nothing about music, you dont even know what you are saying, unless you listen to purely and soley classical music, you have nothing to say

  • hey ive got the bluray woodstock set, it contains over full length tracks from woodstock including this song in amazing quality, you slackers should just cop the fifty bucks if you like it so much, it is worth it...

  • But we still have to buy a Blue Gay player.

  • If you have more we want it!

Santana was perhaps the most musically-talented act on the bill.

  • The Who were!

  • Pfft, The Who, lmao!!!

  • you should put the whole video

  • this is amazing picture quality!

is the dvd this good of picture clarity?

  • yer it realy is.. better than the woodstock movie even...:D

  • In an interview, Santana said that he was struggling to play because he was tripping and seeing that his guitar was a moving snake.

  • also they were rushed to play, they were told either they play now or not at all, so they were forced to play earlier than they thought they were going to....hence the being high while playing haha because they were planning on playing later

  • wow whered you get this 2 wow satana rockss

  • Actually I think he (Carlos) said someone slipped him mescaline. It's amazing he played so well! According to Carlos: "I was praying to God to keep me in time and in tune."

  • nah it was lsd. in an interview he said he took it thinking he was playing 12 hours later than he actually was. Tripping so hard he thought the guitar neck was a snake. look up Santana woodstock theres an interview.

  • Nahh, it was mescaline, but the part about a tripped out snake is correct.

  • I heard him say it was either LSD or mescaline. So I don't think he knew, whatever it was, it wasn't the brown LSD that was going around "it's posion" lol
