Regarding the recent Bachman debaclle: Its really surprising anyone even caught it. It was a pretty poor decision to play it, but its so random Im sure the roots probably didnt even think she would know, but I guess she did so it was a bit rude I'll say, but not really worth all the attention its getting. Sort of like the occupy movement.

The reason nobody remembers Fishbone is because white radio back then wouldnt play black rock music for fear of whatever (racism). Black radio wouldnt play them because they wouldnt support Black rock. So what do you do when nobody wants to support you? You end up like Fishbone, Unsung black creatives who become relics.
