ok, I have the "codes" and "private" files on the root of my SD card. I have the "RSBE01" code stored in "codes". My "private" folder is structured: [private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/Fight­er/sonic] and I have sonic's default costume [FitSonic00.pcs] in the "sonic" file but the custom texture will not appear in the game. My Gecko OS recognizes that the codes are there but will not load them. What's wrong?

so my wii disc drive broke and I just got a usb loader this week problem is brawl texture hacks aren't working because my gecko os only reads through a disc anyway i can load texture hacks with a usb loader gx or neogamma or something else? please someone help so frustrated with this crap.

@Skrallizar yer just need the pal version of the code, which you will find by googling it. and @lontre13 you need to have folders for each character (they are case sensitive BTW) like for example SZeroSuit for zero suit samus.

I just have a question, whenever you download someone's texture or whatever, do you have to have a new code all the time or can u just simply download copy and paste over one so u can have only the textures u really want?

Example: FitSonic05.pcs from (whoever) then see a better one from someone else's FitSonic05.pcs can i just replace it? or what do i have to do?

Yes, you can't do this without it. Unless you find someway to get gecko os on your wii without homebrew.

@AwsomeGamer99 lol gecko os loads the codes for you. all u do is just put the codes on your sd card then load them through gecko os. also that code maybe long but do it the lazy way...u know copy and paste or ctrl v lol. anyways if this doesnt help let me know and ill try to explain differently.

@Silentihaxorz: Ahh i think u stumped me on the file u have to delete. I am still tryin to search though...so ill tell wat u have to delete when i find it. And for the stage mods, u have to just find the files when u download them called STGDX(name of stage).pcs or .pac or both...depending if it has both. drag the file(s) into the in ur stage folder, then into your melee folder, then bam! You got the custom stage. if this doesnt help again ill try to explain in some way that will help.

@ownage,emo: All u need to do is put codes in root of sd card and make sure your folders in sd card are private/wii/app/RSBE/pf, then in pf folder/ Fighter, and Stage for now. Also, for rar files, extract them to where ever u like. it will remake all of the folders u extracted, but just get wat u need; then delete the remake of the folder.Also, hilight from the remake folder, everything u want and drag them in to the folders of the characters or stages. if this doesnt help, then ill differently.
