Really good stuff, Vadim. I watched some of these when I first got the game, but got bored 'cos i didn't really understand what was happening. Now I've had my first try at USSR (which I understand is a good beginners choice) it all makes sense - excellent.
What I'm still not sure about is this serial versus parallel production thing. With parallel I can relate the production slider setting directly to the number of units I will get and when, but with serial it's still a mystery to me.
Serial troops makes your divisions come out faster with time (with each next division in that exact order to complete faster than previous one), but the downside - you can't change that production for instance from 1936 infantry to 1939 infantry while keeping production bonus.
Well, I have just got it last night, and I'm still a litle confused. But, im geting the jist of this excelent game. I have most of the strategic aspect down, but I do not understand whats going on with the economy. I was playing the Doomsday scenario, and I was wondering why it is taking forever to produce troops, and I have no sense of when they are ready. Mabe its just the fact that commanding a war slows down the game.
Yes, you're right. "Road to war" scenario gives you plenty of time to build up the army of your dream. In "Doomsday" scenario you have to rely on what you have.

And I'm guessing that when you go to war with Germany, the game slows to a crawl like in Doomsday. Ok, I get it. Thanks.
