I let someone send me running to buy it, and was pissed when I sat through it. First offm let me start off with this is a rocking ass version of this song. I however thought the movie was mediocre at best. Especially compared to the original with Terry O'Quinn. Now that was a cunning bastard. Very smart, and quick witted. He fell for nothing. What I liked about this movie was the fact that lately movies try to hint at who the villain is and the story basically follows the heroes, in this case the son is the hero. However this movie was actually more about the stepfathers point of view. Trying to hold his false life together. and watching it slowly fall apart lie after lie. Mr brooks is actually the only movie like it on the shelves right now
