  • actually surprised Daigo used a low tier character. Rarely see him do that.

  • @chistophersaylor low tier !! man Fei long is a bad match-up for every character

  • The fighting game community's greatest strength is how players adapt to broken mechanics and glitches rather than complain about or stop playing a game because of them.

  • Freeonel

  • Daigo using Ryu KILLED!

Daigo using Fei Long give the French player a big chance and he still lost like nothing.

  • this game is so slow, wow

  • bruce lee finds this video ok, not great, just ok, next time show more emotion....don't think feel

  • swag

  • lol @ fat American guys massively bashing the French whenever they can. You're stupid. When an American is being destroyed by Daigo (which is not unusual), no one in Europe would invade YouTube to comment: the U.S. suck, they shouldn't sell SF in America, etc.

  • @MessyJatador Hey hey man, I cheer for Daigo to lose regardless of the character or nationality.

  • @MessyJatador

You know that Daigo pretty much got pooped on this year at evo right?

  • That really doesn't change the past.

  • @MessyJatador the french cant even make out the 1st round in st at sbo. the americans have done twice in a row, this year and the last.

  • Herp derp look at me I'm another unfunny idiot making rape jokes please thumbs up my comment I want to be special based on a joke I stole.

  • 2:32 get baited bitch!

  • le match s'est deroule en france??

  • HAHA french noob

  • PLEASE MARK THIS AS NSFW.....this was a freaking rape

  • "daigo, how do you think the french match up to your skills?"

    Daigo: -_- ...

  • wont youtube bann rape videos?

  • There's been a rape up there!

  • fei long is bruce lee so obviously he would be the best fighter. and based on how sumos do in mma... e.honda is the worst

  • Breaking the barrel. Moral victory.

  • the entire fight was good, but the last round was nice

  • wow....that is one timid balrog.

  • Daigo says: Pitiful Balrog, you bore the Beast.

  • This rog is really poor, he keeps doing Fierce Headbutt, which is a very risky/unsafe move in front of a RYU picked by DAIGO. My rog is way better than that. It must have been fun for him to get pwnd by the Beast, tho.

  • to me this was the best Street Fighter ever made SF4 is great SSF4 was garbage SF3 Third Strike is also good

  • @kericr Well yes they are surrender monkeys after all but the funny thing is that Daigo isn't German.

  • Will you people watch the frigging video?

  • Sometimes it is true that when you play an elementary player, your skills become elementary also.

  • @SeventhSun haha "to beat a scrub, you gotta play like a scrub" hahaha

  • @Turkagga We got another stinky French ass licker. Let's just start with an obvious observation. You know what the difference is between a French woman and a basketball team is? The basketball team showers after four periods. And Luffy? Who the fuck is Luffy? Oh yeah, some random stinky ass French faggot who won a single set against Daigo. You make a stupid assumption thinking that Daigo is unbeatable, when hes been beaten hundreds if not thousands of times. Fuck your weak ass French education.

  • @Turkagga: While I agree that guy is an idiot, this is an incredibly poor Balrog. Let's be ST fans from everywhere because we are all one.

  • @kericr lol

  • it looks miss match

  • lol french sucks on st ? just try to fuck with wolmar or milanea on ggpo then talk about french.

  • @SSagatWins France's skill compared to USA or Japan? Yeah they're worthless, exactly like they were in world war 2.

  • @SunnySideUp360 why are you talking as if us and japan are on the same lvl. japan is on a whole other lvl in fighting games compared to the u.s

  • Feis Rekka punches are my favorite special moves in sf

  • @kericr lmfao good one

  • How do you combo normal moves into Supers in ST? Like in 1:01-1:02?

  • French suck at SF

  • @SeventhSun Ryu is Daigos character, he always picks Ryu.

And did you not watch the video? He also chose Fei Long and kicked the shit out of Balrog.

  • @SeventhSun ... did you watch the whole video?

  • @SeventhSun Ya know, Daigo could have just picked balrog and humiliated him even worse.

  • Comment removed

  • @SeventhSun

Daigo COULD pick balrog and have annihilated him, even if that french player used Ryu. Your statement proves how little you know about Daigo and SF.

  • @SeventhSun yea. some people will do anything perfectly legal and alright and sensible to make money for their families. daigo. the scumbag.

  • that other guy sucked

  • Enter the Dragon.

  • @DonPers dyed biatch

  • @DonPers AND IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW ASIANS WHO STAY OUT IN THE SUN HAVE BROWN HAIR. Their hair becomes damaged and changes color from prolonged exposure to the sun. GET AN EDUCATION RETARD.

  • Where can i get this game at?

  • woooh bruce lee! lol

  • fei long super does some serious damage!

  • Oh yes, and Shermie for a French gal speaks very good Japanese also.

The Frenchmen probably love her more than if she were to speak in French. Ah the irony!

  • You know why these french characters speak Japanese? Maybe because they were made by Japanese people. Stop talking... forever...

  • lol daigo is not even trying

the guy's is not on the same league

  • @ericktm what the fuck are u saying?

  • I am saying... what the fak was he thinking playing against daigo.

  • It's awesome how you think he just walked up to Daigo and asked for a casual

  • @ericktm Dude that's not a fair thing to say, Americans have really good gamers but ya I agree there not the only ones. Japan, Canada, Korea, Russia & France have good players too.

  • @XxGonixXFAN ok then, I agree you doo have SOME good players but compare to what?

if you compare them to france and russia you have nothing compare to to the one in Mexico and South America you have nothing... and comparing them to the ones in japan you are better off not saying anything at all.

The best players america has are either Mexican or Asian (japanese mostly) born in america and in most cases are first generation witch means they are not completely "americanized".

  • @ericktm I'm Canadian, don't assume lol. And no that's not true you freaking idiot. Literally, your a fucking idiot. And I don't say that as an insult, I say that because I feel sorry for your shit for brains head. I'm Canadian and I beat Japan, Mexico, Korean, Russian, England & Australian players 24/7. The only time I lose is when I vs against YUU vega, ya that's practically the only guy who can beat me online. So before you start talking like an idiot, think first. Fucking idiot ...

  • @XxGonixXFAN wow, you are a fucking beast what was i thinking talking to such a badass? LOL

ppl sure is right, talking shit and bragging in youtube seems to be every losers timekiller... anyways, Canadian? what the fuck I thought all they had in canada was faking ice and bitches with perky boobs i didnt know technology stroke you madafakers since you guysl literally live a faking ice cube.

for real?... Canada?, I doubt people acknowledge you guys at all.

  • What you said about Canada, is true lol. We don't really get noticed because were not like America, every war isn't our war, every problem isn't our problem & we don't flash our nuclear missles of doom on other peoples faces. And good job, all you did was attack Canada ! You did not make a single retort to my skill or how Canada has great players like me that beat EVO players :D Hooray, aren't you glad you commented like that? xD

  • this announcer is annoying

  • daigo pick fei long, so that frionel will put a better fight, though i doubt he chose him to mock frionel, but is a possibilty

  • I love non-ryu (sf2, sfA series, sf4) and non-ken (sf3) daigo videos he brings a lot more flavour with other characters, where as ru is his power-gamer exact pixel hadouken spamming machine that isnt as pretty to watch, more awe-inspiringly technical. Real joy to see him bring the love with fei, who imo has best fight style in sf2. And i agree with fyckthissht sf2 ST is more brutally paced than sf4.

  • Tres sympa, j'avais jamais vu cette video.

Daigo est un monstre, bien joué à Frionel.

  • No, what we do best is cooking, and getting laid.

  • Hahaha.

Did Daigo mock Frionel by picking Fei Long in the second match or what?

  • i second that

  • So wait... Daigo was so bored because of the lack of skill in the other player he picked Fei Long just for kicks?

  • @Nyoronoru Lmfao. The implied pun here makes me smile :)

  • LMAO!!!

  • Actually he was blocking low ;P

  • holy mother of god y is this game so slow paced

  • Because it was made over 15 years ago.

    What do you expect??

  • itz cuz its being played on turbo 2 instead of turbo 3 which is arcade/tournament standard....watch an evo match video....skill needed to keep up with ST is wayyyyyy more advanced than sf4

  • in many ways street fighter iv is wayyyy more slow paced than sf II ever way

  • hell yea!!

  • Oh hell yeah..

  • lol daigo as fei long

  • DERRRRRRRRRr

    I LIKE 3RD STRIKE

  • Please. Sagat is likely the worst "best" character in a fighter to come along in a while. There's not even a single 8-2 matchup in SFIV, what are you talking about? Even Vega, the worst of the arcade characters, can hang. Saying SFIV is less balanced is ludicrous. Now, saying it can be mundane/boring, that I agree with.

  • SF4 isnt well balanced at all, just look at the tier lists, Sagat is way over powered, the difference between the high tiers and low tiers is massive.

If you want a balanced fighter play Garou: Mark of the Wolves, it's pretty balanced.

And for the record Hyper fighting is probably the most balanced Capcom game.

  • I'd disagree with that. Fei Long has a 9.5-.5 matchup with WW Guile and Sagat.

    That's fucking stupid.

CE Dic, O. Sagat and WW Guile dominate that game hardcore. ST.Ryu and Chun are pretty ridiculous too.

  • wow you could not be more wrong there

thats like saying mvc2 is balanced

  • lol!

    u don't know shit

  • lol!

    ok

  • the most balanced game Capcom has produced. Although I don't give credit to Capcom. It's kinda random.

  • Ummmm, this is definitely NOT the most balanced game Capcom has produced. O Sagat takes out like 30-40% health with one fierce tiger Uppercut, not to mention his fireballs in this game are faster and stronger. Hence why they made HD Remix...a rebalanced version of an unbalanced game. Plus SF4 Is the most balanced game Capcom has produced.

  • Your wrong about SF4 and HD remix is still unbalanced

  • HD Remix is more balanced than Super Turbo at least, and SF4 is most balanced Street Fighter game.

  • Thats true but their all still unblanaced. But they can never fix that problem

  • Well yeah, but then again is any game REALLY balanced? :p

  • SUDOKU! lol just kidding. But ya I can't argue against that ... Especially left 4 dead 2, where the humans are so fucking over powered -_-

  • LOL, sudoku XD

  • CS 1.6/CSS, QuakeLive (Before QLive was out, there was QA3, QA4 [to a lesser extent], and Painkiller, QLive is basically QA3 anyways), Starcraft, Warcraft 3 ..

For the most part, there are a handful of balanced fighters anyways, but as of late it becomes harder to balance it. Or, at least, game studios are spending less time balancing it.

  • i missed the part where CSS was a fighting game

  • How is it balanced? the Capcom characters were the only good characters leaving out half of the already large cast, doesnt sound balanced to me.

  • @JCrest87 Which is ironic considering MvC2 was the other way around.

  • Most balanced? The game has terrible match ups and only 5 characters are worth playing. The only variety that exists is counter picking.

  • no,

  • French gamers are not that great really. It's not their thing

  • pretty sure yamazaki93 could beat you at any 2d fighter of your choice

  • Pretty sure yamazaki is a japanesse name

  • That dosn't mean the player isn't french.

  • I was talking about french gamers from the start. Make some sence man

  • Okay. But a japanese username dosn't mean that the user is japanese. Yamazaki is french. From France.

  • atleast he tried =/

  • Last Year, Prof Jones, a french player won the SBO last chance Qualifier at ST, is it "not great" ?

  • OMG a french player finally wins a tournament after how many fucking years?

  • what about japanese players that live in france? I know of some good ones.

  • I said french gamers, meaning people who were originally from France

  • nice fei long.

  • when playing SF4 online i always go for the french if im in the mood for an easy win XD

  • frenchs will never reach japanese level, at any game... the french player is so ridiculous vs daigo, than when he wins 1 round, it's like he won 1 000 000 $ :)

  • why not?

  • Not enough players training and not enough training for the few.

  • thnx

  • There are some good players in France, the true problem is, the Street Fighter competitive scene is almost non-existent due to tournament hosts preferring games like Brawl, Dragon Ball, Naruto or Soul Calibur*. The French "competitive" scene is different from the US and Jap ones, that's all. Also, some French players are top notch when it comes to KoF.

(*I am aware that those four games are horribly not fitting for serious competition, but that's the way it goes in my little country. Sadly.)

  • i am glad i read your entire comment before responding lol i was like...which of those games should be taken seriously?

  • well ya know, at least he didnt surrender

  • rofl

  • Man, in every of these videos where Daigo battles these French guys the crowd always gets an orgasm when the French person wins lol.

  • lol cant believe there is a melee vs SF argument going on. If you even consider brawl in this argument u are a retard. Brawl is a shit game compared to ssb and ssbm. On which game is better and more difficult... i cant really say. Both games have their technical sides to them. Ive seen incredible matches in both games. This discussion is gonna go no where so ending it would be the best.

  • Fei long's punch into that kick special move is a straight rip off.

  • how can i do upper punch in boxer's super?

  • @taihendesuu

    Hit any kick button.

  • Daigo Chicken-Winged that guy xD

  • forgot to mention, SF is the most widely known fighting game.. Even the average gamer know who Ryu and Ken are....

  • SF is pretty intense and requires lots of skills although it doesn't have like 100 moves like other fighting games.... It's hard to just push buttons and do decent combos in SF.. in games like soul caliber.. omg..horrible... a noob can just push buttons and do awesome combos...lame.. more like a hack and slash type to me..

  • True that. I've noticed the two most successful fighting games are Smash bros and Street fighter and there as simple as it gets.

  • smash bros..?

  • Please don't put Street Fighter and SSB in the same sentence.

  • melee is more interesting to watch and play

  • What a typically ignorant thing for a "Smasher" to say; do you even play Street Fighter?

  • I wouldn't have said that unless I have played both...you need to calm down

  • LOL, who's angry? I guess a better question would be how WELL do you play Street Fighter?

  • Also SF4>>>>>>Bralw Bralw suckz

  • probably as well as you play melee qt pie

  • Are you talking about me? Come on sf and smash are too different to compare. Sf takes more spacing and and more reading your opponents, smash takes fast hands and reflexes and crazy mindgames. I think there equal imo, but if you don't thats fine with me. It's your opinion. And I play sf and smash competitively I not the best at them but I don't suck. Sorry I started a arguement :(

  • Ha you don't wtf your talking about but I dont wanna argue, I know all the mindgames in smash and if you don't it doesn't effect me.

  • Mastering Melee takes a damn lot of skill with timing and whatnot, lots of gamers underestimate that game a lot.

But yeah, SF4 is definitely light years ahead of brawl.

  • I played competitive Melee for YEARS, I'm aware of the intricacies of the game. That being said, Melee's depth can't hold a candle to Street Fighter's depth; Melee simply doesn't have as many options as SF.

The competitive Melee scene had to create options from almost nothing, while SF was explicitly designed with options in mind, then the community adds even more on top of that.

  • But I have played for years, why would I lie? I used to play with RaynEX every Wednesday at my university. I never beat him, but I'd take him down to 1 or 2 stocks most times.

This debate will go nowhere; you present your opinion as a fact without providing any evidence. I don't know where you got off thinking that Melee has a steep learning curve too, care to elaborate?

  • lol are you serious? MvC2? i love the game but it is broken as hell. And no, melee does not have more depth than any street fighter game. maybe WW but that's about it.

  • as far as mvc2 is, i meant broken because of certain infinites but w/e. game takes skill sure, but games like cvs2 and such take more. and sure melee has it's technical side as well, but i stand by my statement saying that melee does not take anymore skill than any street fighter. And please....dont try to come in here acting like some melee pro or something, just gtfo....unless you're m2k or something....which i doubt you are.

  • Youre a noob

  • you're sadly mistaken if you think Melee is deeper than 3rd Strike.

  • Comment removed

  • wat

  • just fuck off you stupid fucktard

  • o thx for the explanation dude u really helped me out.

  • No need to thank me becasue I wasn't trying to help just fuck off FUCKTARD.

  • There's a matter of taste. Some people just won't like the game. But as far as the game being simple, ST is actually one of the most technical fighters out there.

  • ive played other fighting games and they seem way more in depth. r there just more mechanics b/c i know the move list is nothing compared to other games?

  • A large move list doesn't make for a complex game. SF2 has so much underneath what you see when you just watch without playing, that you truly only have a basic grasp of whats going on. A lot of consideration about priorities, frames, and all of that good stuff goes into every match, along with reading your opponent, predicting them, and then beating them.

I barely play on the surface of all of this, and it is by far the most intense fighting game I've played.

  • Mm personally the first time I've played this game was way back when I was 5 years old and the whole concept of quarter circle forward for hadou ken and forward quarter circle forward for a shoryuken has always stuck with me. I guess the feeling is nostalgic, the root of fighting games came from street fighter.

  • killtrocity09 < trolled

  • Man it's so pleasing to see the best player using the mighty Bruce Lee. It's like watching Enter the Dragon.
