This was the best tactical shooter on the Xbox. PS2 and GameCube had a version Ghost Recon2 but they were such different game (i e crappy) that you can't compare them. These were so much fun on Xbox Live.

You can, but in Ghost Recon 2 and onward (Even in current gen Advanced Warfighter) you are limited to first person view only, which is a definite drawback.

Loss of peripheral vision and missing visual feedback, since there's no first person arms/weapon models.

- Suppressing fire

- Right/left flanking

- Teammates throw grenades

- Ordering teammates to plant charges

- Large weapon selection (Includes the M16/M4; correct mag capacity on the SCAR-H)

- Open level design that requires actual strategy

Fucking goddamn frogs from Ubi corporate TOOK this game from Red Storm, and have been butchering it at their Paris studio for the last six years!

Because I prefer the increased stopping power of the SCAR-H. I would have prefered using an M14 though.

Problem is, there's only a marksman version with a scope on it in this game. That is a scope which 2 levels of magnifications. I don't like having to click the zoom button down twice to return my aim to normal, especially not when zoom is mapped to the R-stick button.
