I wish the new Boss 302's had done a stripe package like this. I'm all for honoring the past, but I don't see why they need to do an exact replica of the 69's side stripes. I also prefer this hood stripe to the Boss'.

Is the engine fully forged (pistons, rods, crank) like the 2010 stage 3, if not when are they going to make a forged high boost version like the 530whp 2010 4.6L Stage 3?

No, they don't rebuild the engine like those, however, if you remember, those did have a MUCH higher price and started about $63,000 because of the engine work. As of right now, the say they don't have plans for an engine rebuild, but who knows what 2 or 3 years hold.

It does cost allot in development to do such a task with a new engine. The thing most don't realize is, for you or me to simply swap internals at our local shop isn't really a big deal. Sure it cost money, but we just buy the parts and have them installed. For a company like Roush, as a Manufacturer, they have to submit to the govenrment for permits, crash tests, epa and so on, so you need to produce enough to get your money back...
