You should be able to get a 2009 for a good price. They are pretty much all the same from 2009-2011. I think you can get the manual trans starting with the 2010'

I just bought one and I wasn't a big fan of the grill....however I had the dealership paint that gaudy silver grill black to match the rest of the car....I have the tech package and it is amazing what the car can do and it drives like a dream....give it a chance if you can

I believe the Type-S trim won't be offered on this generation TL, but I believe around 2010-2011 there will be a 6-speed manual option replacing the Type-S model.

TL is larger and has a more powerful engine than an A4. Also if you compared the base models they cost the same but TL includes heated seats, dimming mirrors, bluetooth, and homelink standard. $3500 more gets you really good navigation, 440 watt 10 speaker stereo with hard drive, smart key, better leather and trim. Best effort equipping an Audi like that would add another $10000 and you'll still get a crusty old navi that looks like its 15 years old.

as my video discussed, TSX (or Accord) is only FWD with L4 engine where a4 and 3-series also offers 6 cylinders and RWD. I know Honda is very gd at L4 and FWD but beyond that sector, no competition! Also why would you have an entry Premium model that has less power than an average family US accord? By the way I do love Honda, but this TL is tooooo ugly! FWD is no go, coz it wud torque steer. 3.7 AWD is no gd either coz you can buy RL(legend) instead which is sexier and less embarrassed to drive

Nice car, but looks like it's trying too hard on the outside. The interior is also a bit cheap, at least compared to the 3-Series, and definitely the A4. Take for example the plastic door handles, or the hard plastic atop the dashboard. Chintzy. Nice car, but it's obvious it's Japanese. Honda has done pretty well enmulating German design and technology over the years, and do it more reliably, yet this isn't as involving as a German car.

Yes, the Japanese are good at dumbing down German applications to make them more affordable and reliable. Acura or Lexus rarely ever comes out with innovative performance and convenience features, though. Just look at the constant technology added to MB/MB/Audi products - first to offer active suspensions, airbags, ABS, adaptive Xenon, radar cruise, active body control, crash presafe, and the list goes on. The Germans innovate, the Japanese make it more relialbe, dumbed down.
