@MrMetalbeast123 Major problem. An MGS movie would be around 2 hours. 2 hours of cutscenes only in a game is about halfway through the first level. I'd say a TV show with a major producer (Like Stars) would be a better choice.

This game is literally the most addicting game, its funny, sad, addicting isnt even the word, it is better than any movie or game I've played, not just for the best campaign mode ever, not for the killing, but for its.. EVERYTHING. Ths song fits perfectly, better than any song has fit any movie or game...

I think this game's ending trumps RDR's on that front though tbh. I'm not a particularly big fan of Kojima's writing in the MGS series, but I think the part at the end of this game when Snake is getting his medals was really well done. And the part where he salutes The Boss' grave was pretty heart breaking to watch.

@nflannery59 It doesen't looked like a tatoo to me, it was maybe dirt or something. Big Boss never had any tattoos up to that point of his life (maybe he never even had an tattoo anyway). And about the Uniform: You mean that uniform with the FOX beret, right? To me it looks like one of these army service uniforms, but I'm not an expert in military-clothing, so I could be wrong.

@Predatorobergottheit I think it is an original outfit. I know for a fact that The Boss was wearing a standard olive drab pilot uniform used by the U.S. Air Force back in the day. But don't forget that with Jack's/ Naked Snake's status, even before gaining the title of Big Boss, there is no real uniform. So Hideo Kojima must have created something entirely new for him. Just as ever Snake has an original uniform in every game.

The pointless fighting of the Cold War and the spending of the arms and space races when the U.S. and U.S.S.R. both arrived at the same conclusions. The Boss's dream of a world without capitalism and communism where war was not pointlessly waged and a soldier was more than just someone who takes orders; a tool of the Government, is what spawns the Patriots.
This game was one of the deepest, emotional experiances in gaming. This video perfectly illustriates that. You really have to feel for snake. Killing his mentor for the sake of a greedy government that doesn't care if he lives or dies. They just want to keep their asses out of hot water.
I've been looking for this song for years and finally I found it! I knew I had heard it somewhere, and ofc it was in the very best game made on earth. This brings back a lot of memories... everything from the HALO jump untill the bitter end. I'm no good at japanese, but I sure as heck know that Kojima means epic! I remember when playing the ending scene to this game, after realizing all that the boss has sacrificed, and how painful that sacrifice was to naked snake, when this song came on, tears streamed down my eyes, this is the first video game ever to evoke such emotion out of me!
Snake Eater is arguably the most emotional installment in the series. I thought The Boss' death and legacy was heart wrenching, the fact that only Big Boss and EVA knew the truth behind her actions while history would remember her as a traitor and a criminal. In my opinion, Snake Eater had the best plot out of all the games.
@Zepp900 id say all are REALLY sad. SPOILER A FUCKIN LERT*MGS1 the boss's deaths were so sad; if you gave into torture then at the end youd be depressed you let meryll die (or did she?) and naomi's ending dialogue brought me tears. MGS2 (better if played normal MGS1) after EE's death, and the bird repeating "i miss you" realizing she didnt hate otacon; raiden's story as a kid. the 4th brought me to tears when you go back to SM and the rest of the game (the beauty stories made tears too)
I don't recall saying the other games in the series didn't have sad moments. All I said was in my opinion, Snake Eater had the best plot and The Boss' death was the most touching.

@MechPhantom The problem was not the US Government. It was the policy of the Governments in general to use soldiers as tools. The pointless fighting of the Cold War and the spending of the arms and space races when the U.S. and U.S.S.R. both arrived at the same conclusions. The Boss's dream of a world without capitalism and communism where war was not pointlessly waged and a soldier was more than just someone who takes orders; a tool of the Government, is what spawns the Patriots.

This game was one of the deepest, emotional experiances in gaming. This video perfectly illustriates that. You really have to feel for snake. Killing his mentor for the sake of a greedy government that doesn't care if he lives or dies. They just want to keep their asses out of hot water.

I've been looking for this song for years and finally I found it! I knew I had heard it somewhere, and ofc it was in the very best game made on earth. This brings back a lot of memories... everything from the HALO jump untill the bitter end. I'm no good at japanese, but I sure as heck know that Kojima means epic! I remember when playing the ending scene to this game, after realizing all that the boss has sacrificed, and how painful that sacrifice was to naked snake, when this song came on, tears streamed down my eyes, this is the first video game ever to evoke such emotion out of me!

Snake Eater is arguably the most emotional installment in the series. I thought The Boss' death and legacy was heart wrenching, the fact that only Big Boss and EVA knew the truth behind her actions while history would remember her as a traitor and a criminal. In my opinion, Snake Eater had the best plot out of all the games.

@Zepp900 id say all are REALLY sad. SPOILER A FUCKIN LERT*MGS1 the boss's deaths were so sad; if you gave into torture then at the end youd be depressed you let meryll die (or did she?) and naomi's ending dialogue brought me tears. MGS2 (better if played normal MGS1) after EE's death, and the bird repeating "i miss you" realizing she didnt hate otacon; raiden's story as a kid. the 4th brought me to tears when you go back to SM and the rest of the game (the beauty stories made tears too)

I don't recall saying the other games in the series didn't have sad moments. All I said was in my opinion, Snake Eater had the best plot and The Boss' death was the most touching.

@Zepp900 also, SPOILER ALERT AGAIN* playing as an old snake in mgs4 made you feel weak and finished, especially when you had troubles with stamina and stuff. then meryll proposing to johnny made you feel you didnt really deserve anyone, cuz you were pretty much in love with meryll anyways in MGS1. there's just so much complex shit about every one of these games, i almost dont want to buy Rising because i know whats coming....... but i HAVE TO, and i will
