Fact of the matter is, whether it was her choice or her record company's, her style in the early 2000s was nothing but a front...her whole boyish carefree attitude. Before she was discovered she even had a song called 'make-up' look it up if you wan to hear what she says. Whether this Avril was really her or this new one is, at one point she wasn't truthful. I like her music regardless of its about her feelings or about stealing a girls bf.
