Thank you. Very few people understand that the jokes and taunts, the rivalry, are all part of our little game. Nobody understands or loves a brother-in-arms like a fellow serviceman. Go with grace, brother.

I got the chills every time that flag went up. Then got a little teary when he did not show up for flag call.
Civilians will never realize the emotions when you see that flag. ALL the pain and and hurt from the LONG deployments to all your LOST buddies. It all hits you at once when you see that flag raised. After both of my deployments as soon as I seen that flag raised everyone that I was with started to tear up.
It's just an amazing thing. Thank you all for your service.
@MrTechnoAlex I was in Camp Pendleton CAWG 2010 CTS 117th Minute Men also! I was in Hotel flight which flight were you in? That creed we took was easy to memorize... and I got our squadron commander Scott Giles to box my cover...
Great video. Thank you DonovanArch for uploading the video to share with all. It's great that some movie stars like David Huddleston and James McEachin aren't as naive and ungreatful as those that flaunt their ignorance.
Thanks again for sharing, and thank you veterans for serving.

You are correct. I love my country. Unfortunately, unless you work for Halliburton, are part of the Cheney or Bush family, or have something else to gain from our military efforts - you probably are fighting and dying in vain. What would Jesus (anyone's God) do? Then who's philosophy are you following and why? Does God favor one country over another? One life?
my father was in WWII and on the USSCalifornia ,USS Yorktown and others....he was sunk but survived....that generation Never got the recognition it deserved for keeping our country safe for our lifetimes....no questions asked ..they signed up,women worked the factories and they made due.....they had a pride way above any other generation.....I lost a future husband to the VietNam war and here we are 60yrs later still fighting wars to create what??/peace....mmmmmmmmmmmmm
What a wonderful little film, My Grandfather was a WWII vet on the West Virgina, and he had the same routine almost exactly. I miss him, these last 20 years so much. What a wise and caring man of honor and integrity
This is an amazing film, it really makes you reflect on your ancestors and what they've sacrificed for us to live in this beautiful and free nation. Short & simple, yet it manages to pull at your emotions, I was truly moved. Thank You!!
