@samartin123 This "storyline" began in Tomb Raider: Legend. Continued somewhat in Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Ended here, in Underworld. They made the 3 games a Trilogy and a different chapter in the TR storyline. Though TR: Anniversary was an undated remake of the original TR from PS1, They Linked Amanda and Jacqueline Natla into this game. Underworld was Originally going to be titled, Mists of Avalon.

Tomb Raider: 9 is suppose to be the first installment of the next trilogy.

@ApplesiPhone4 That was foreshadowing. The Game Begins when Lara's Doppelganger blows up Croft Manor. Zip thinks it's Lara that tried to kill them so that is why he's shooting at her at the beginning of the game. After you beat that part at the beginning, the game Starts back at the events leading up to that point. Not sure if that made alot of since to you the way i explained. I can try to re-explain if need be though.

That was not her mother. If you have tomb raider legend the airplane crashes before they go into the temple and her mother disapeers. Not to avylon. There is still a lot to reveal. At the end it was smokey out that hole. Lara had gone back in time to when her mother crased the airplane. So she could change time and live with her mother again.

they made the game for the higher quality pc, xbox 360 and ps3, versions. since the ps2 isn't on the cutting edge anymore and the wii sucks, the had to make a lesser quality version, and so gymnastics was removed. how sad :-(

Oh..my...god she does find her mum?! Ive been playing through teh game atm, but Im fed up with it on the ice level near the end. I was really excited to play this one on Wii, but its turned out to be such a disappointment. The only real highlight for me was the story, I dont like anything else bar the graphics =[. Sonic unleashed was a nasty disappointment for me too though.

Half the games had nothing to do with the parents. The series can just continue with some good old tomb exploring. There wont be a major story plot that can be added to in a new one, but some new experiences and minor plot can be introduced.

GirlWhoPlaysTR you just made me think, the blue liquid natla falls into (Eitr) is poisonous but in Norse mythology it's thought that eitr is origin of all living things so i'm guessing that it can reanimate dead cells. So i'm now gonna say that Natla was hit on the head and killed by thor's hammer then fell into the Eitr and came back to life to try and raise hell (again) in tomb raider 9. Although there would be a problem of how she escapes Helheim....meh she can just fly i suppose.
