Yup - this song has nothing to do with The Beatles. It was solely a John Lennon creation for the Double Fantasy album. DF was such a triumph for John and is so bitter sweet that it is so inseparable from the tragedy of his death. I played it over and over for months in mourning over his death. Woman is one of my favs.

But this "Woman" is from John and Yoko's 1980 album, Double Fantasy. Was a mega-hit immediately following his death.
