  • She probaly was a carpet muncher.. But you got to give her credit cause no one really ever knew the truth...

  • Excellent job. I'm actually reading "Song of the Lark" right now. Well, not this second, but ....I'm like fifty pages in; Thea's still a kid. It's great though.

Her short stories are the best. "Neighbor Rossicky", "The Sculptor's Funeral", "Coming, Aphrodite", etc.

I'm glad someone your age even knows who she is. If I saw you, I'd just picture you blasting The Academy Is while you curse out your mother, maybe reading Johnathan Franzen or something like that. I'm impressed.

  • @MckyMseNTarotCrds Thank you, It all started with my class having to read "My Antonia". Along with several other books by well known authors. And at the end of the year we had to pick our favorite one and do a project and paper on the author. I chose Willa Cather. And as for cursing out my mother, I would never.

But thank you for you're compliments haha

  • Terrve says-nice going! However, the stuff I read about her said she wasn't gay...hm, conflicting research, so annoying.

  • @nakayaninja I've always been under the impression that it was a known fact that she was a fan of the silk putty-tat. I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive she lived with a woman, a gal she met while a copy editor, for like twenty or thirty years. I think they stayed together until one them died.

I don't know...maybe they were just like Laverne and Shirley.
