From her new 2011 cd "Sound Advice". I'm guessing Patti is a rare exception to the "if you're over 35 we don't want you at major label" syndrome. Though this is on a boutique label, She was well over 35 when Warners Bros. released her "On The Way To Love" cd. Her talent is recognized by the best in the biz, so she's always surrounded with great accompaniment. Finally, I LIKE "MY WAY". lol

I love Patti Austin, but I did not dig anything about this song. It was way too monotone, and it did not go anywhere. It was definitely introspective and reflective from the singers point of view, but it did not draw *me* (as a listener) in. However, she looks great in the picture. Clay

I appreciate the emotion put forth with the lyrics. ...made me tingly, breathe hard, heart pound, and gasp. Much like an orgasm.  I think I like it.

only patti austin can do it... taking a classic and making it hers. How rare a talent. What a beautiful rendition. It doesn't matter she is under appreciated or recognised by pop culture as for those who loves her truly stays with her for decades and years. The world is a much better place because of Ms Austin.
