I'm pentecostal also and I find it extremely funny. You have to have perspective on things. Mark is JUST doing a bit of comedy. @dollrescuer Elvis listened to JD Sumner when he was growing up, idolizing JD and JD used to tell stories of letting Elvis in the stage door when Elvis was a boy coming to all night gospel singings in Memphis cause Elvis couldn't afford a ticket.  He noted it with some amusement because after Elvis hit big, Elvis was then letting JD in the stage door for his shows. Eventually when Elvis came back to performing and touring in the late 60's and early 70's he got JD and the Stamps to sing for him.

@lilpeach714 That way he can hear himself better. I do that too sometimes, when I'm singing. You catch the vibrations from your voice going through your jawbone and that way you can stay on your part more easily. That's also why he does it when singing with the quartet :)

To the untrained ear, Bill's note sounds relativily low, even like the 1st octive, however its only a Gb or F# in the 2nd octive. And even though Jd's, at it's lowest point is about an A1 it sounds much lower coming from those pipes!!
