@TheStahrman Are you in the process of writing for 45 minutes, or thinking? Especially for orchestras, I barrel through and force myself to create.

That might be the reason why you're stuck; maybe you're waiting for inspiration. I suggest you get a program like Guitar Pro (MIDI) or Reason 4/5/6 (Realistic Sounds) and experiment on there. I wrote directly on Reason for this one.

@TheStahrman the problem you experience is very similar one i have...its called writers block lol. The best advice here has already been given; plow through it, make a mess and get the ideas down as soon as you think of them. after that tidy up the mess and fine tune it into something truly amazing. I guess thats why my publisher told me my writing is far beyond my years. He gave me that advice. good luck

Sounds like you wanted a Korean war theme at the beginning but then it keeps changing O_O very good quality. Would i use this in a movie? No, but i would definately listen to it over and over.

IMO it went downhill as soon as the strings kicked in. No offense. I just prefer (yet can't find anywhere) strait timpani drum beat for war music. Sparse, epic, fear instilling. Tension in Musica. Good song by all means, but not what I was hoping for.
