Covered a couple Beatles songs off their 1966 Revolver album. Elvis sang everything for two hours, never an off note. Played the piano; adapted "Pump it Up" into a blues, I could go on forever. He brought the house down. I wanted to quit my job and just follow the tour. You nailed it: he IS the fucking man~

The reason there's no energy is that this is second time they played the song.

I was there for the performance, and Billie Joe screwed up the lyrics for the second verse. Since it was being televised, after the end of the set they came back out and played No Action again. You can tell he's concentrating on the lyrics this time.

It was better than Death Cab for Cutie, who stopped a song half way through and started over because the singer dropped his pick.

If someone had to be as talented as an artist to criticize them, there would be no critics. I personally think that EC is better, with a wider variety of styles under his belt, more compicated and interesting chordal use and well, I just prefer his lyrics.
