  • this is muay thai battle field style(muay chaiya), muay thai u see these day are developed into sport :D

  • I love this video, it has an old school flavor to it. Thank you kindly for the upload.

  • FUK muay thai chaiya is the best style of all

  • ok muay thai was created as a sport, muay boran is actually the first style it stands for acient boxing used in there war times and also was muay chaiya

  • @Nunny234 muay thai chaiya is one of thailands main styles, being the western style there are three more who's names i have forgotten but muay boran is derived from all 4 styles

  • Looks great:):) i want learn that:):)

  • chandler2222, GREAT COMMENT BRO SO TRUE!!

  • MuayThai was original from THAILAND

    MuayThai had many branches too.

Such as "MuayThai Boran", "MuayThai Chaiya".

    But(for me)The Awesomest is MuayThai.

Search "BUAKAW" in YouTube. He's Thai Awesome Figther.

  • buakaw is a tough K1 fighter indeed, and the way he trains is just unbelievable. His training camp in thailand is a muddy shithole and he has a mad training chedule each day. This guy is made of steel indeed.

Muay Boran means "ancient muay thai" in general, including chaiya, korat, lopburi and thasao. Chaiya comes from the southen thailand and is based on low compact stances and breaking blocks and elbow counters.

  • get the facts right, muay thai boran doesn't exists, its simply called"muay boran"... which originated from cambodia... actually the roots of muay thai comes from cambodia... can't believe u dont know this even if your nickname has muaythai in it.

  • pahayud? mean bodily movement? Who gave you that translation? It means to fight! or battle! it is a term used to refer to an act of entering a battle. Same word in Khmer. So it same meaning. Why? Cause it probably derived from Khmer court. When a commander say: Brahayudth! he means go fight now go dance!

  • oh didn't mean say go dance! i meant to say "not go dance!" To be precise, prayudth can also be taken as an order to kill! Prahyudth Chivit, or in Khmer they say Prahyudth Chivut

  • sorry. I'm sleeping just wake up. Pradhyut means to fight or go battle. Prahar means to kill. Don't be confused with these two term. Don't believe me ask your monk with knowledge in Pali or Sanskrit.

  • Confirmed..

    Yudth means fight.

  • ok torrents and johnny u wanna see wut happens if ur in da ring dey kick ur ass u die

    thats good training

so if u hate get the fck out

  • u farang r all the same go fuck our women and get aids all white men who insult thai tradition should die

  • i havent seen any techniques in this video, forbidden in a muay thai fight. even the neck throw is allowed. there are many muay boran skills u can use in a muay thai sport fight.

a good fighter with the physics and expierience can ofc use more "complicated" techniques. Sometimes they work pretty good because ur opponent dont know about them.

  • a lot of moves don't are effective.... that's why you don't see this in a muay thai bout.

for example why put down the arm to block middle kicks...

you like to get head kicked?

  • muay chaiya isn't used in the ring becuase alot fo the regulation keep you from doing some moves muay chaiya uses grappling and hit on the floor not used in the ring

  • ok first get your facts right. muay chaiya is muay boran. muay boran is not allowed in the ring cause it for safely reason

  • a lot of stand up techniques of muay chaiya are allowed in muay thai bouts. but in muay thai you only learn a few, cause most of them are really not very usefull. an example? the uppercut with both hands at the same time. anyway i respect thai traditions, but i really think some of this moves where never tried in a fight

  • and i can tell you something else. in a fight (i had two amateur boxing bouts) also the tecniques you know almost don't work. that's why you train almost a few useful tecniques and learn them very well (and of course you have to get used to punishment too and have physical and mental toughness)

  • Dude it depends on the reflex of the fighter.. accuracy my friend..

  • These guys can beat the Shaolin guys anytime.

  • The young warriors are already skilful at such young age=]

  • Thats Muay Thai, Grand martial art.

  • do you know where i could find any muay korat vids. I havent seen any at all.

  • go to that website in the video and you'll find a lot!

  • THAT'S SO COOL. But a ring, bags and pads are nice.

  • yea, nice
