Why can't the Universe to be a "cosmic comforter that hands me a lollipop" when I'm down or disappointed? Does a parent give their shivering child a wet blanket, or a cold shoulder when they're lonely? What's wrong with a little encouragement? Maybe the Universe is more of a drill sargeant than a parent? lol.
