@WillMillion15 I haven't come across many books dedicated to production like this one, I mean there are tons of general purpose books or books on mixing/engineering. SampleMagic made one about house production that's pretty good.

My favorite thing about the book is it not a beat-making instruction manual, its a book about how to be a beatmaker. Its not focused on one tool, or one style of hip hop, instead it covers where hip hop came from, where's it been going, and leaves it open for where it will end up. The interviews are great as well. Definitely worth owning, its like having a producer to watch work and pick up good habits from.
