  • Fist show ever, and you got 1st! great job! Were you nervous??

  • Thanks! Was I nervous, you bet!! But I was also REALLY excited!

  • Awesome! I am training my 4 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Simba, in agility. :D

He is an excellent jumper though. Now I just need to get everything else down. He is doing good with weave poles though. :)

  • That's great!! I love seeing other schnauzers doing Agility! Good luck with him! :D

  • Aw! You have a clever wee dog. =)

  • Congratz on the Q! Great run! :)

  • Wow, awesome run! You are so lucky, got a Q on your first ever trial! She is really focused, and so fast!

  • Fantastic. Loved the photos at the end also.

    -taylor

  • Thanks Taylor! We're looking forward to a full year of trialling adventures! ;)

  • Thanks, I love it doing agility with Cuten it's my first dog where I do agility with but we where in 2 seasons already in class 3 ;o))

Keep doing it and you will having fun together !

  • go the beards! I want to do that with my mini but he is easily distracted and a little over weight!

  • Thanks! Agility is a great way to take off some pounds. I can see why it would be easy for a schnauzer to become overweight -- Mika loves food and would eat till she bursts! She always acts like she's starving. :) When we're playing disc or doing some other casual training, I give her broccoli, regular Cheerios, or some other food with barely any calories. When we do Agility, I do give her some special treats like salami or cheese, but for the regular training we do she gets food with less fat.

  • good

  • wow what an amazing run for a novice start =) me and my dog have the time and distraction issue..kudos to u and Mika haha

  • Congrats, you guys looked great :) Nice save at the weave entry!

  • Mika is good at agility. Congratulations, you make a great team.
