It's nice to see the Minds acknowledging their beginnings again.I saw them live back in 1986 and the earliest track they played in their set list was "Love Song" otherwise it was all that "Once Upon a Time" pompous bullshit."Cacophony" is their masterpiece...one of the most original late 70's post punk LP's of all time.
Great gig. Was lucky to be at ABC & good to hear many old songs - different set from SECC a few days earlier. Being at a small venue took me back to Tiffanys then Barrowland & the close up & personal venues are much better. While maybe the vocal was not as sharp still put on an excellent, passionate, energetic performance with the audience responding likewise. Pity Mick&Derek didnt make an appearance, however, saw them with their band FourGoodMen in 2008 who play early Minds songs. Worth seeing.
wow, factory live a few weeks ago, im surprised :) jim must sing this old great track a little bit snappier, its no ballad ;o
but im really pleased that they play this song actually. i miss the great keyboardplaying from michael macneil and dereks fat bass, but ok, times changes. thank you for uploading :)
una de las mejores versiones en directo de esta cancion. Los delays del final me recuerdan a la gira del real life, ojala retomen esos delays para la gira del proximo album
Thanks for posting!
