Earth isn't watery... approx 0.6% of all mass on earth is water... I don't think that constitutes watery.... but otherwise cool song, I like it! Also... the "if the moon is not responsible, then who"... I hope you can find a better line for that...
i dont get it how most of the palnets in our solar system have many moons and they all are
much smaller in proportion to their planets compared to moon : earth
for example one of Jupiter's biggest moons IO is 3,636km r and earths moon moon-3,476 km r. Compare earth's size to Jupiter : P
this thing so called "moon" shouldnt be there , and this movies of how the moon was born are full of s*^it none realy knows or can proof how if happened
to date the moon has been segregated no blacks or other darkies allowed. no coons on the moon if you catch my drift. its a all white masonic membership club members only. No commies either. anything else is just a song.
when the moon were 14.000 miles above the Earth, there was 4 hours a day! now the day is 24 hours! if we had no moon we had no seasons so in a part of the Earth would be day forever and in other part night forever lol xD
you know, waaaayyy back in the days of napster, before litigation caught up with technology, my sister and I had a "cheese-off", looking up the cheesiest songs we could think of. She beat me with Andy Griffith Gospel Music. I wish I had known of this song then.
What an imformative song. First I thought it was some kind of parody, because normally science language normally isn't very lyrical. But this was great, like a new form of lecturing. And that beautiful voice of Christine.
how long do you think our human race/ civilization will really last? i think sometime within the next 100 years there is gonna be a nuclear world war and then everyone will be fucked.. so the moon is the last think we should be worried about.

loved the singing of course.. artistic yes, educational- hell no. any teacher who would use this as an aid is none other than a fairytale-teller. so freaking tired of these pseudo-scientific baseless claims passed off as scientific KNOWLEDGE. every adequate person understands what's a theory and what's a fact. and that there's NO way to know whether something happened 10 or just 1 million years ago, which is an incomprehensible freaking period for a human, and HOW that happened, if AT ALL.
"scientific" belief of Gridlore is in this sense no different than Tintinmikmik's belief in biblical "prophesies". never laughed so hard when Gridlore said "we CHECK our claims", are you insane, you must have a time machine or talk to your creator. start being honest with kids at least and every time you come up with a theory or speculation, don't forget the FOOTNOTE saying it's only that and has nothing to do with knowledge.
btw, the role of the moon in this vid - WAY overblown ))
I like that name Orpheus, but it seems to me that it would be only fair to say that the body which was struck was not simply "early Earth", but was a planet in its own right, also destroyed by the collision.
We could cal them Aether and Hemera, after the Greek god and goddess who were the parents of Gaea.
This is in the Quran where Allah says the day that the moon is joins with the sun and mixs with it will be the last day. The the Earth will shake a the greatest shake and the seas will overflow but also heat will be unbearable...mountains will turn to dust and all life will end.
Also mentions that the last day will catch some at night and some at day.
How can we easily accept the declaration of science about the billion/million years history of moon, earth & other things But who can validate those declarations? Those who assumed it? Then it would be biased! The BIBLE declares the history of the moon & earth & all those things in it Who validates it? GOD, history, dead sea scroll, ALL the present things that are happening on earth which are all prophesied in the bible! Which ic more accurate? The BIBLE! Your "science" is just but a speculation
We validate these claims with hard evidence that is checked and rechecked. Any scientific claim is subjected to rigorous review of method, data, and conclusions. Even older conclusions are subject to correction as new data comes in. Religion has none of that. The Bible is howlingly wrong in many places on scientific matters. Believe in a Cosmic Sky Daddy if you want, but if you reject science, get off the internet. It's not mentioned in the Bible and is a product of the science you reject.
I respect your position. Let put it this way, the pro-creation and the pro-evolution are of two opposite beliefs. Since we both live in North America, you stick with your belief, I stick with mine. What is important, we both have expressed our beliefs. If you have proofs to support your "science", I have proofs too to support my "bible". I think, we just simply settle it that way.
I don't respect yours. You are trying to put superstition on the same level with science. Sorry, but if you want to make burnt offerings to some vengeful thunder god, that's fine. But don't be surprised when educated people laugh at you.
This is one of the biggest issues that the pro-creation and pro-evolution ARE NOT compromising, then how can the two of us solve this, what is left is, which one you want to believe.
Actually, evolution has mounds of evidence and has withstood rigorous testing and criticism. Creationism has a magic story backed by a Bronze Age text that claims unicorns are real animals.
And please don't tell me to get off the internet, because I am not receiving any money from you to pay for my internet service. This is America, I am free to express my opinion, with or without your permission!
Indeed I do have the song on my computer. And speaking as the album publisher, recording this song cost about $2,500 in hired musicians and studio time in Manhattan (and that's just what we paid out of pocket.) So, if ya really want the song, please kick in the 99 cents on iTunes or wherever you buy music to pay for it, or purchase the album. Thank you.
By the way, I don't mean to be testy here -- just please consider that recording music in a professional studio costs really big bucks. If that weren't the case, I know I'd sure love to give everything away over the Internet for free.
I wondered how I could get a voice like that :o

This video really helped me in my project. Anyways, how will they hijack Europa and put it in the moon's orbit?

Seems a little redundant, you know? Why not just hijack our own moon? Or maybe she mean's 'hijack' as in 'colonize'. Who knows.
Either way, I really enjoyed the video.

I loved christine lavin so much when I was younger! I'm glad she's finally getting out here on the internet.
I think the original live recordings of this song have more charm, though... it seems a little overworked now.
still, I'm glad it's here.

The Quran also mentions that Iron was sent down.
Scientest say that Iron on earth located at the core (the main factor of gravity) has collided with earth from space via meteors.
Yet meteors cant penetrate to the depth of earth so it must have been created by a great impact from a large object.
looking at the beginning of the moon and how it collided with the planet fits the description.
Allah Akbar.

Your Bible also defines pi as being *exactly* 3 (a reference to a circular pool 10 cubits across and 30 cubits around), which is provably false.
