i only played the demo, but i doubt the gameplay is drastically different, this game seems really rushed and empty, shooting arrows feels like using a sniper rifle instead of a bow, what the hell with flashy combos and flaming swords, just make it simple slashing, realistic, to get the epic war feeling, not all this magical bullshit flying around, one rule all games should follow, dont add a fucking magical trail after arrows, it looks lame, just have the arrow fly out is that hard..

If this is the 1st FIRST Lord of the Rings game you will play..you'll make some fun outta it BUT if you played the previous single-player Lotr games (Fellowship of The Ring,Two Towers and Return of the King)..DON'T buy this game trust me it is nothing like the previous ones..it doesn't have that same charm,feel and excitement of the previous games...you are gonna puke when you play this game...I am a big Lotr fan and I'm not joking...

I am a massive fan of both Lord of the Rings and Pandemic Studio's earlier works- Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction. This game simply didn't cut it. It felt like a last gen title. I was so disappointed. I think this game may be more disappointing than Mercenaries 2 was. None of it was thrilling. Uh they needed to put a lot more into this game to make it worthy of Battlefront 2 and LOTR.

Why do LoTR games feel the need to add in mages? I dont like WoW in my LoTR. Generic mages have as much place in LoTR as they do in a Modern Warfare game, which is to say none.

i for one love this game

I just wish the game had more classes. There could be a spear man who could be a balance of ranged (throwing spears) and close range attacks. There could also be an engineer that uses a hammer to repair catapults and crossbow turrets.

Blocking is also overpowered in this game, and if enough enemies are striking at someone blocking, they should damage them...but blocking counter attacks would be cool, like from assassins creed
