I really wish that there were more competitors to the X86 market other than Intel/AMD. Nvidia may arise someday to be a good competitor to these giants of engineering in the General Computation CPU sector.

Just how did Intel work with Corel?? The only relationship they could have had that would of ended up in the modification of the CPU & Chipset to what it is today .. is by adding certain SIMD (Single - Instruction , Multiple Data) extensions, such as SSE 4 ... other than that, this video, and others about CS4 and stuff if pure marketing BS. i7 does math faster, so yes it will accelerate big software no matter what it is.
