I'm sure we all know Reggie wasn't the guy who decided to not release Mother in places. He was just the guy the people picked to stick his neck out to the public and explain the situation. Of course, his wording could have been better, but it's not entirely his fault. Truth-be-told, most of the blame goes to Itoi himself, who made a point of not bothering to allow nintendo to fix the copyright errors.
