@Shwaggetyshfifty As a piece of abstract video. I am not saying you have to think of it as avant-garde, but for me it works perfectly as an avant-garde/abstract film. That is how I watched it anyway and really enjoyed it.

I found one at a garage sale & bought it. Playing Van Halen's "1984" through it was a trip! Figured-out how to record both A/V while using it, needed a VCR capable of simultaneous input to do it.
Audio line-level from source to VCR line-in.
Feed AVM from VCR audio line-out.
AVM's RF to VCR coax ANT-in.
If recorder isn't simul-capable, use RF-demodulator to change AVM's RF-output signal to composite-video line-level & feed to recorder's line-level video-in.
It's just that easy!

Yes indeed. Well if they can put a DVD player into a small box this would be an incomplicated add-on. I would be happy to pay extra for that vintage touch. My DVD player is my daily CD player already.
