  • DOGOOD HERE: Bring On Those videos Brotha!! :D

  • In addition these types of people are incredibly rare. Not many people have the patience and perseverance to put in all those years of effort. Not to mention the fact that these were entrepreneurs, which not many people are capable of being.

And on top of that while you pick a handful of people to use as examples, there are countless studies that show income and employment disparities between people with college degrees and those without.

  • You can't just cherry-pick examples of successful people without college degrees from a very specific branch of work (all your examples were related to the tech industry) and use that to "prove" that you don't need college degrees. Not only is that incredibly poor reasoning but you also listed people that grew up at just the right time, when there weren't a lot of tech companies and the market was very much open to newcomers. It's a lot harder to start a big tech company now than there was then.

  • Good to see you back man.

  • @Anonomys246 thanks a lot!

There is an article in Yahoo called "My Degree Isn't Worth the Debt!" by Annalyn Censky

    Monday, July 11, 2011.

    Here is a sample:

    Erik Solecki

    Student debt: $185,000

Degree: Bachelor's in industrial engineering from Kettering University

Was my college degree worth it? Hell no.

I graduated from one of the top engineering schools in the nation, thinking my starting salary would be between $70,000 and $80,000 a year.....

    Enjoy :)

  • short and sweet. dont disappear into the vast abyss for month on-end please!

  • @DewbieHaut thanks for watching, I need to be more consistent, thanks for the comment!

  • Yeah, Steve Jobs didn't get a college degree.... and now he's DEAD!!!!

    .....Too soon?

  • I was a special breed of stupid because I didn't want to go to college because I didn't want to waste money since I was unsure about a major. I was coerced to go to college by a person that never went and another drop-out (stupid family members). I went, was jerked around by being told I had to take classes that had nothing to do with my focus at the time, overpriced books that would get you shit back when you tried to return them @ the end of the semester & then my course counselor started,..

  • @kakuichi started laughing @ me when he saw the classes that he said that I had to take because it's my 1st semester & that the next semester would be about my actual major. He said that the classes that he gave me was a waste of time & that he didn't remember saying that I had to take these "worthless" classes! I've never been so damn mad in my life; thankfully, I was smart enough to leave without any conflict but I was out thousands of dollars. So, of course, I say FUCK COLLEGE!

  • he's back!

  • @Montag1992 thanks for noticing!

  • Invest your money. Money invested beats the hell out of making good money through a job/ The dumb kid I debated was drinking the college kool aid and thought by becoming a paralegal he would be making bank while he said id be working at MCD's. I asked him how much he was putting away each month and he said nothing. Just recently I redid my retirement plan and had 1200 bucks in equidy! most college grads don't even have 500 bucks in their savings accounts....

  • doing a degree is only worthwhile if you take the following:

    Engineering, law, medicine

you need to get 80%/B/2.1 on them to get a job.. and may even require MA/PHD

college is a waste of time for 90% of the population in every country

the rest of degrees are worthless.

  • Great another video! I'm one of those who believed the lie that a degree meant a job. I have a masters and unemployed 3 years.

  • @RadioLaPrincess I really appreciate you watching the videos for so long. I know things will improve for you.

  • @DontGoToCollege thanks Yes things will improve eventually forme, but I hope others that college realize college doesn't equal guaranteed success. The fact that I had the grades and all of that makes no difference unfortunately in the economy.

  • @RadioLaPrincess Me Too.

  • @ReverendDoGood I don't know how you feel, but I feel hopeless at times. I did everything "right" and instead I am forever in debt.

  • @RadioLaPrincess Keep Your Hope Alive RadioLaPrincess. Sometimes All People Have Is Hope, & There's Nothing Wrong With That.

  • @ReverendDoGood that is very important to do and one day everything will be fine for both of us.

  • DON"T GO TO COLLEGE!!! go to a trade school and learn a trade that will benefit you when the economy collapses.

  • I went to a community college and got my associates degree. Now I hear that even a Bachelors Degree isn't good enough anymore. So now I'm going to find a school that will teach me a trade. So the bottom line is.......DON"T GO TO COLLEGE!!!!
