  • Wow. The bitch tells someone else to get over it because it's been 3 years yet he responded to a month old comment just to have a bitch-fest about it and then walk away. Way to end your little crying spree with remarks that resemble the maturity of a 5-year-old. You make me glad you're not a Packers fan.

  • the bears are the packers biggest rival, always have been. and secondly, if people are still mad about favre being traded to the jets and being picked up by the vikings, its been over a year since he retired for good, over 3 years since he went to the vikings, GET OVER IT.

  • yeah he did but was it all rodgers though cmon that defense plowed the way for them

  • No favre waass forced out tompson and mcarthy wanted him it was rodgers turn

  • @1991favre but aaron rogers got a super bowl win

  • Favre's return was also staged. He waited until the Pack had their roster set before his"comeback". So he could drop 12 mil on the cap and put them over the roster limit. Forcing them to release him outright. Because they already told him they wouldn't trade him when he demanded it in '06. The year Chilly and Bevil were hired in MN. The NFL gave the Pack a roster exemption and they had cap room. The Pack told Favre he could come in. Brett is the one who backed down and said, OK then trade me.

  • Personally I couldn't care less that Favre went to the Vikings. They got what they deserved. Trying to fix 50 years of choking by getting a QB known for choking in the playoffs and he choked. Was anybody surprised? The thing that bothered me and why I don't forgive Favre is that he went and dissected his playbook for the Lions and "other teams" Since he was admittedly in talks with MN and the other team most damaging to the Packers would be the Bears. My guess is that's who the "others" were.

  • I watched the ESPN special about Rodgers the other day. The year the Packers drafted Rodgers, this is what Favre had to say about it, "There is nothing in my contract that says I have to mentor Rodgers" or something along those lines. What an asshole! I bet Rodgers has given Flynn a shitload of advice and has made him into a quality QB. Though it's good to know Rodgers has become a beast on his own without any help from the self-centered bitch Favre.

  • @GreenDay1981 did you watch the interview before the super bowl by rodgers who said after that first year him and favre built a good bond and favre taught him a lot and if it wasn't for favre rodgers said he wouldn't be where he is today... but yea, what an asshole right? giving everything you got to a team who tosses you out on your ass the first chance they get without so much as a phone call. maybe you should learn your facts before spewing ignorant rants, dumb piece of shit.

  • @WarEagle140 Oh yeah they have such a good bond but when Rodgers was asked what kind of relationship he has with Favre, his exact response was, "I have none. We don't talk." Yeah, real strong bond there. Speaking of without so much as a phone call, explain why Favre didn't call Rodgers up to congratulate him on winning the Super Bowl. Afterall, they have such a strong bond, right? Maybe YOU should learn the facts.

  • @GreenDay1981 that was right after favre got traded. and i don't see rodgers calling brett or making any effort himself... wonder why you are having a double standard here...

  • @WarEagle140 What does Rodgers need to call Favre up for? To ask him if he sent out anymore dick pics? Rodgers makes an effort. His own teammates have said he's a friendly guy and asks everyone for their cell phone numbers so he can keep in touch with them. Do I need to bring up Mark Chmura's remarks about Favre again? I would take the word of a guy who actually played with Favre than that of some Favre fanboy who clearly doesn't have the facts.

  • @GreenDay1981 Robert Brooks "Favre is the greatest QB to ever play the game, if anyone disputes that, whether they are old school or new school, they're crazy" Donald Driver when Favre was trying to come back to the Packers in 2008 "I'm happy," veteran receiver Donald Driver said. "I'm excited. It's good to have him back in the house." And again, in an interview before the super bowl, Rodgers said Favre gave him tons of advice and he wouldnt be where he is now (the super bowl) without favre..

  • @GreenDay1981 and you left out the fact that you were wrong about favre not helping rodgers... just sayin...and i think calling to let someone know "hey, we're trading you to the jets" is bigger than saying congrats on your super bowl, which favre said he wasn't surprised and said rodgers is a great qb and the packers are a great team... but yea what a jackass, who calls someone a great qb and a team great? how unclassy........................

  • @WarEagle140 Favre gave Rodgers no advice whatsoever. How is that helping him? Oh, and Rodgers won the Super Bowl in Favre's final NFL season which was 2 years after leaving the Jets, moron. See? You don't have the facts.

  • @GreenDay1981 You are such a fag, I said when Rodgers said him and Favre don't talk, it was right after, actually during, the whole mess in 2008 was going down, not about winning the super bowl. See? I do have the facts, you are just so damn clueless that you can't see it.. Your stupidity is appalling.

  • @WarEagle140 No, retard. The interview where Rodgers said him and Favre don't talk was after he won the Super Bowl because they talked about the Super Bowl win in the same interview. So no, you don't have the facts. Type in "Favre won't speak to Rodgers" in whatever search engine you use and read the transcript from when Rodgers was on the Michael Irvin radio program. Then try telling me they had a good bond.

  • @GreenDay1981 it was actually while it was taking place, the interview was shown before favre and the vikes played at lambeau in 09.. try again. Keep digging dude, keep digging. You're just coming off as a complete dumbass and it's quite hysterical.

  • Comment removed

  • @GreenDay1981 watch this, and in advanced "I told you so" nfl.com/videos/nfl-super-bowl/09000d5d81e285aa/Sunday-Sitdown-Aaron-Rodgers

  • @WarEagle140 You want to post quotes? I can do that too. Mark Chmura: "People who don't think that it's all about him are fooling themselves. He's a selfish guy. He's a very selfish guy." The person who posted those quotes likes Favre and doesn't like Chmura but agreed with what Chmura said. Donald Driver: "I played with two quarterbacks. One just went out there and did what he did and wasn't patient at all. Aaron takes what the defense gives him and that's the type of guy you want."

  • @GreenDay1981 if hes so selfish then why does he donate millions to charities, is part of the make a wish foundation, gave part of his paycheck back to the pack the last few seasons he was a packer so they could get better players or pay other guys more to keep them, and has NEVER demanded a pay increase. You talk about Favre and his "dick pics" that he was never proven guilty for that must mean you think chmura is a rapist even tho he wasn't proven guilty tho it did end up causing him to retire

  • @GreenDay1981 what do you expect Driver to say "i liked playing with favre better" please, that would cause disaster in the locker room... Driver said what he had to say to keep the team happy and avoid any tension. You know damn well Driver loves Favre and if you don't, well I wouldn't be surprised, you are fucking retarded

  • @WarEagle140 From Favre's own big mouth, "There's nothing in my contract that says I have to mentor Rodgers." and "The talent around him is much better than when I was there. I'm just surprised it took him so long." Yeah clearly he's not an asshole at all. Oh, and your little claim that Rodgers didn't make an effort with Favre is wrong too. He called Favre after his first unretirement and Favre never returned the call so eat shit.

  • @GreenDay1981 he NEVER said that second part. He said, "I'm just surprised he didn't do it sooner." that is a COMPLIMENT meaning Rodgers and the Packers are SO GOOD, that he thought they would win the super bowl in 2008 or 2009. How is that being a jerk? please explain, oh wise one.

  • @WarEagle140 Dipshit. That was an exact quote from Favre. Look it up if you don't believe me. You don't know shit. Every article about those comments called Favre's "compliments" backhanded. Who cares what charities Favre has? What does it have to do with his attitude as a player? Suh gave a shitload of money to the University Of Nebraska. Doesn't mean he isn't an asshole on the field.

  • @GreenDay1981 I have seen it, he does not say "I'm just surprised it took him so long" he says "I'm surprised he didn't do it sooner" BIG DIFFERENCE. And the charities thing proves he isn't selfish, which is what you called him. If someone is selfish, that means they only care about themselves, meaning they don't give anybody anything. Damn, you need to put your head in hot water and grow a brain. Don't respond, I'm done with you, go fuck your mother and walk into on coming traffic, cunt.

  • @GreenDay1981 do you think tom brady is an ass hole, he said basically the same thing about not having to mentor.. the only difference, after 2005, FAVRE DID MENTOR, RODGERS SAID IT FROM HIS "OWN BIG MOUTH SO EAT SHIT"

  • @WarEagle140 You are full of shit. If Favre mentored Rodgers, don't you think Rodgers would be kissing Favre's ass after winning the Super Bowl? And if Favre mentored him so much, why did he not call him to congratulate him? Another thing Favre said was that Rodgers "fell into a good situation". I suppose you think THAT is a compliment too? Sounds more like an excuse to me. Still think they have a good bond? LMAO!! I'm done with you little Favre fanboy. You are hopeless.

  • Im a Steeler fan but... the packer fans dont get that farve was given up by the packers they didnt want him... and they are freaking out about him being TRADED... do u think he wanted to leave THe packers?

  • @whitekid7thhst Yeah the Packers gave him up because he said he was retiring. The Packers spent months preparing Rodgers for the starting QB spot when old man Favre suddenly had a change of heart and demanded his starting job with the Packers back. It would not have been fair to return Rodgers to the back seat after so much offseason work just so Favre could feed his own ego some more. Favre got pissed about it so he signed with the Vikings to get even. That's the story of our dislike of Favre.

  • @GreenDay1981 i bet you also didn't know favre said, to be fair to rodgers, that they can have a QB challenge and at first thompson agreed but then an hour later said no. Why? cuz he knew who would win and he knew the guy he wanted would have lost. Your story is a myth, and a myth is just a bunch of false, inaccurate, make believe theories.

  • @WarEagle140 What a load of shit. Favre would never have a QB challenge with anyone. When he came out of retirement the first time, he demanded his starting spot back. Not asked for, not requested, DEMANDED. Does that sound like someone willing to give someone else a fair chance? You just can't bring yourself to admit that Favre was a selfish egotistical asshole so you make up a bunch of bullshit that never happened to try and make him look good. How sad.

  • @GreenDay1981 omg, you are such a fucking moron.. do you seriously NOT remember that whole interview by both Favre AND McCarthy or any of the news stories that covered it? Here is a quote from the article on ESPN from 2008 (continued on next post)

  • @GreenDay1981 "For weeks, football analysts asked why the Packers didn't simply accept Favre back and let him compete against Rodgers. Egos seemed to get in the way of logic. Last season, Favre had one of his best seasons, throwing for 4,155 yards and leading the Packers to the NFC Championship Game... The key concession Sunday was the Packers' willingness to let him compete against Rodgers. That's what Favre wanted all along

  • This shits funny as hell.

For one,who cares who Brett played for.

Two,the guy loved football he thought he had the best chance with the Vikings cause of Peterson to win another superbowl.I Iive in Wi. and always a Packer fan NO matter who's in for QB.no matter if they win OR lose.

    Where Brett NOW?

    Where's the Packers NOW?

Yes he did win us a superbowl AND put the Packers BACK on the map,i guess all the haters forgot about that.

If he had a choice thats where he would of went after the Packers.

  • all the people that "forgive" him are dumb asses

and just to let you know favre i let my dog chew my favre jersey then i poured gas on it and i burned it

  • Forgiven? Nope. He's a piece of shit.

  • I hope I NEVER see Rodgers in a Vikings jersey...

dont want that shit anywhere near my team

    VikingsPride!

  • @iamamaggot666 your take number 4 but not 12 ...dumb assss

  • @DEBO82420 maybe when you can spell/speak proper grammar you can call someone out on being dumb, but until then, your the dumbass...

    good day to you

  • @iamamaggot666 lmao okay MAGGOT666 queer ALERT

  • @DEBO82420 good one...real original there buddy...bet you had to think reeaal long and hard to come up with such an amazing response to my comment...

    fuckin dumbass

  • @iamamaggot666 LOL....that's what you Viking fans said about Favre when he was a Packer!

  • What about Jets fans? Have they forgiven him after the way in which he basically used them in a bid to go to the place where he really wanted to go all along?

  • "It's like he turned his back to us", hahahaha! Your team traded him dumbass! Nobody has ever thought of this though, without him you wouldn't have made it to those two SBs!

  • @usteeler81 Just like without him we wouldn't have lost the 2007 NFC Championship game. I bet Rodgers has more than 1 SB ring already if he didn't spend 3 years in Favre's shadow.

  • @GreenDay1981 Rogers would not half the QB he is without learning from Farve for a few years

  • @TopRanger237 I can agree that Rodgers sitting on the bench for three years while he worked his NFL level game did him a world of good. Just what he learned from Favre is questionable. Rodgers has a discipline toward the game Favre never came close to. Rodgers worked his reps so that his accuracy blows Favre's out of the water. Favre was all about himself, Rodgers puts the team first. Favre refused to work with backups, Rodgers does religiously. Most of who Rodgers is is himself, not from Favre.

  • @TopRanger237 Yeah he learned from Favre. He learned what NOT TO DO from watching Favre. Are you serious? Favre never gave him any advise or even acknowledged his existence. Rodgers is doing this on his own. If he took notes from Favre, he would have 20 interceptions this season. I guess Tom Brady learned from watching Drew Bledsoe?

  • Out with the old and in with the new. And obviously the Packer organization made the right choice !!! #12 is our QB and we are proud of it !!! And Rodgers is smart and respectable not to mention one of the hottest QB's right now. :) GO PACK !!!

  • @wareagle

Why can't you accept that Favre retired from the Packers in a tear filled press conference and the Packers moved on? Why can't you accept that Favre is Fredo Corleone?

Favre is a disgrace. Favre is a liar, a drama queen, and little too spiteful. But Favre got his in the end. Long Live Ted Thompson.

  • that dumbass who said "its like favre turned his back on us" needs to be hit. Favre was TRADED. he didn't leave, why can't you people just fucking accept that TED THOMPSON was the guy who TRADED Favre?

  • @WarEagle140 Yeah keep acting like Favre did nothing wrong. You cannot forget that Favre RETIRED in a teary press conference then changed his mind 4 months later. Plain and simple. Favre did a lot for the Packers no changing that, but there is also no changing the fact how he acted his last couple of years at Greenbay.

  • @0024jekramer you do realize Reggie White also retired and came back to play for a different team, however he didn't even try to come back for Green Bay like Favre did. Favre put up a fight to STAY at Green Bay and you hate him for it????? Wow

  • @WarEagle140 First off, I don't hate Favre, I just have no respect for him. And I have no respect for him because of the way he treated the Packers couple of years. The will-he-retire game, the comments he made, and just the whole way he handled the situation. Favre is in no way innocent in all of this mess so you need to stop portraying him as such.

  • @0024jekramer you should have respect for his 16 years he gave us and offered EVERYTHING for our team. Also, he NEVER mentioned retirement until 2008. The previous years, it was always the media bringing it up and he would simply say "I don't know" or "I can still play" or something like that so you should have no respect for the media because THEY started the Favre Watch. when he did retire and came back, Ted Thompson didn't handle it well either so he is just as much to blame as Favre

  • And no way is Aaron Rodgers moving away from the Vikings. So just put that 12 Vikings jersey away douche bag.

  • So you're going to change your team just because some from the Packers went on that team?

  • She should burn them.

  • I will never forgive him because he went to the Vikings. Go die Favre.

  • @martback18901 the packers didnt want him so he went went to the jets. thats fine but what he really wanted is to win and he thought the vikings had that. packers r nothing about family so favre just wanted to win after that

  • Brett isn't a threat to Packer fans anymore, so I really don't think people should be such babies over it. People seem to be mislead by the sexual harassment allegations as well, even though there is absolutely no proof they're true and there won't ever be. Wake up Wisconsin, Favre was a legend. Who cares where he plays now, he only plays for fun now anyway. He's not a threat to us, the Bears are our only threat.

  • @cccherry The Packers almost benched Favre in '94 because he was killing the team with bad decisions. The Packers had a back-up by the name of Mark Brunnel, the guy who took a newly expanded Jaguars to two AFC championship games in 4 years. Just imagine what he might have done with the loaded Packer team of '95-'97. No, I think the Pack would have won at least one SB with Brunnel, maybe more. Harlan, Wolf, Holmgren, and White were there too. Favre ended up being more about himself than the Pack.

  • @toolkien are you kidding me.that is the funniest shit ive ever heard, favre was 3 time mvp during that time. brunell had like 3 good seasons in his career.

  • @bwestnig Favre's lifetime QB rating - 86.0 Brunell's - 84.0. Yep, a world of difference. I don't care about Favre's PERSONAL accomplishments if it didn't lead my team to championships. I still maintain that Brunell was good enough to win with the Packers team of 1996, as would have a Lynn Dickey or a Matt Hasselbeck or maybe even a Don Majkowski (healthy), and PERHAPS more. Let's just imagine Brunell at the helm as the team matured and Favre running for his life in Jacksonville.

  • I don't maintain that Brunell would have been the iron man Favre turned out to be, but I would have taken one SB AND a greater chance at more with Brunell, then turn the team over to Hasselbeck for a 6-7 year arc, than to have what we ended having with Favre. Favre killed us way too many times as the Gunslinger. He didn't work anywhere near hard enough to be elite. His legacy will be being a very good QB for a long, long time IN THE REGULAR SEASON. Otherwise, Joey Harrington in the playoffs.

  • @toolkien You are a hypocrite I can guarantee it. When Favre was a Packer you were probably one saying Favre is the greatest of all time and now your saying he's "very good" You're a disgrace to Packer fans. to say he didn't work hard to be elite, you should just shut the fuck up douche

  • @toolkien pretty sure the pack sucked for years before he got there.i think they had like 3 losing seasons while he was there.rodgers already tied him with that. favre would have more rings if he had a defense after the super bowl years. do you not remeber how awful the d was.4th and 26 is all i have to say

  • @bwestnig He threw a pic in overtime of the "4th down Freddie Mitchell" Philly playoff game. Jus sayin....

  • @Slotten68 4th and 26 was most retarded thing ive ever seen from a defense that doesnt even happen in a game of blitz.that play just symbolizes how shitty the defense was in 00s.brett never had a chance with al harris as best player on d

  • @toolkien Haha, this comment is a joke, right?

  • @cccherry I think you need to do a lot of research on the Packers history.

  • Im still really sore he even played as a jet. But there is one thing that keeps nawing at me. "the Great Memories" of Brett as a Packer. He won us a Superbowl in 97 against the pats, Broke majority of all passing records as a packer, broke the consecutive game streak for QBs as a packer, And the main reason i became a Packer fan at the age of 8 when we beat the pats, is because of him. No i dont quite forgive him, But Brett youll always be My Fave QB! GO PACK GO! Its Mr. Rodgers Hood Now!

  • CHAMPS BABY!!!!!!!! WOOOT!!!!!!

  • Rodgers a viking? ya effing right!! Vikes just need to learn to scout out a good qb instead, seriously

  • Who Cares! Favre is washed up! And the Packers are going to Super bowl 45!!!

  • @Grkangle0505 won!* :D

  • Brett favre was awesome in greenbay and then we all accepted but weren't too thrilled with him with the jets but, the vikings? Come on this guy is suddenly acting like he has and never has had any respect for packer fans. He deserves all of the bad publicity.

  • @cccherry Seriously what moron thinks Favre is the reason Green Bay is called Titletown?

  • @cccherry

He made Green Bay title town? Get of the internet, stupid.

  • im so tired of hearing how Brett Turned his back on the PACK...everybody forgot that BRETT TRIED TO COME BACK TO THE PACK, but they didn't want any part of him. get shit straight everyone, PACKERS TURNED ON BRETT, not the other way around

-go brett favre and get that ring

  • FORGIVE HIM FOR WHAT? HE TRIED TO COMEBACK AND WAS REJECTED YOU FUCKING IDIOTS, did the NY jets or Minnesota have a problem waiting on Favre? NO. So WHY THE FUCK does his team where he has played for 18 years care? O WAIT ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY YOU IGNORANT SHITHEADS, they made the choice to have a mediocre team with rogers for the next 10 yrs rather than a contender with favre for 2-3. Revenue has already been made on #4 jerzeys... theres still a lot to be made on rodgers... sell out bitches

  • The Packers didn't allow Favre to return. There no one to blame but yourself for him to go to the Vikings. You should have kept him. Aaron Rodgers isn't no one near as Brett Favre.

  • When ever I hear all this Favre retirement talk, it's like hearing a pack of wolves cry at the full moon.

  • OH comon Packers fans! you ignorant fools! Favre wanted to play for you guys when he said that he would unretire. If anyone you should blame the management for trying to force Favre to stay retired. If Favre had a choice he would've remained a Packer. How the hell are you going to tell Favre, your franchase/hall of fame player to take a hike and not allow him to return? Especially coming off a great season, so close to the Superbowl

  • @FreshZerglings Because Aaron was next in line, Favre retired and he was moved into the job he was brought in to do. It's the same as if you were going to leave your job, trained the next guy for when you left and after being gone for a few came back and said "well I want my old spot back." You can come back but you have to take it from the guy you gave it to. Favre did not want to do that and the Pack stood by their future. Why piss off the long term future to make the short term future happy?

  • @fightinscot This is different. The old guy you were referring to is Brett Favre. He gave everything to the Packers franchise. The guy should've already earned the respect to come back. Especially coming off a great season (13-3) and so close to the Superbowl. Also Favre knows the offense better. With Rodger's, he'll still be learning? Which one can get you to the Superbowl faster? The answer is Favre! So why give up that chance? Why give up your Hall of Famer? Why piss off your best employee?

  • @FreshZerglings

    Great question!

Answer: MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY

  • lol at Packer fans i get it. Your whole lives revolve around you team...Minnesota folk have baseball, hockey, a night life, beautiful women, AND a very solid football team. Ive been to green Bay many times, I play Minor league ball ive been all over the mid-west. Outside of a few bars that have 90 dollar bottle servbice all you have is the Packers. Thats it. So i understnd ur pain......now go drink some more and fuck your cousin again LMAO

  • I'll forgive him the day he retires. But till then fuck him.

  • This is the same thing that Cleveland is going through with LeBron James.

By the way, I live in Wisconsin and i'm a Vikings Fan.

  • lol even with farve you still can't even win a super bowl at least the Packers won 3 super bowls and none of them was with brett farve

  • @Pupon97 dude I haven't forgive Favre but he did win one for the Packers! know your Packers history before you talk. He beat those Patriots 35-21 with Favre in 96.

  • @blaney68 yeah i know but i don't care the packers worked hard to win that super bowl and they did even though they defeated my favorite i still like em

  • Crybabies, go crawl back into your dive bars between the cow pastures and cry together in your beers.

  • Aaron Rodgers a viking jersey. Are u kidding me???

    "Aaron a viking"

"lets try to get over Favre first"

    lmao

  • @smileyfan16 Rodgers will never turn like crybaby Favre did.

  • Packer fans are drunk losers

  • @bigefm Packers 3 Vikings 0 that is Super Bowl wins and 12-0 titles Packers are the winners Vikings are just Queens.

  • The Packers had enough of his bullshit. Good for them for moving on. Aaron Rodgers will own multiple rings when it's all said and done. Count on it.

  • brett favre in the dome watch him score over them gay packer... GGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MINNESOTA VIKINGS!!!!!!

  • @vikings566 lol and what happened with the Saints with the big interception Viqueens suck

  • P.S. im glad favre raped the packers twice this year..good for him FUCK TT AND MCCARTHY...ungratefull packers fans i bleed green n gold ill NEVER boo #4 without him GB wouldnt have a superbowl they prolly still be weak as fuck like before the old gunslinger

  • @danandchrism um he threw an interception in the nfc championship game and we didnt go to the super bowl because of him.. then he left so fuck him and fuck you. rodgers is 10x the man favre is.o and too bad we raped the vikings this year. FORGOTTEN 4 EVER! GO PACK!!!

  • sofavresogood i agree GB did favre DIRRRRRTYYY and the fans who booed him in lambeau did him dirty to!!!i love brett always have always will even if he is a viking..thanks for the memories brett fuck packers fans fuckin fags!

  • goddamnit you fuckin packers fans dont get it....THE PACKERS FUCKED HIM OVER YOU FUCKIN DOUCHEBAGS....OF COURSE HE WOULD WANT TO GO TO THE BIGGEST RIVAL TO SHOW YOUR FUCKIN ASSES UP AND HE DID THAT INDEED BEATING THE PACKERS TWICE.

  • @sofavresogood are you kidding me fuck face? Favre fucked the Packers and us over. I'm retired, ok now we have to move on.. oh wait your back, what are you suppose to trade Rodgers away for 1 or 2 more years of Favre? We love Favre, but he screwed us, we had no choice and made the only decision we could of done. Rodgers is the future, when he finally does retire, the Vikings are done...

  • favre is a very big faggot. i was able to amend when he went to the jets, but the viqueens???? cmon man. i hope i never hear the words that aaron rodgers is a viking. thats an ugly site. cause unlike favre, rodgers would be able to take them to the super bowl. but he is a packers thankfully

  • I blame the coaching more than Favre, We have the talent to take us far and have room for more being under cap. Our coach is simply more suited for College level athletics.

  • i TOTALLY agree with you, chrmedbabygirl!! altho iv nvr ben a packers fan lol....management did betray him....favres a natural purple dude...

  • mrceebees your players were dicks especially thomas jones and brett favre doubled your wins in one year he helped you but your too much of a dick to realize that

  • Farve is an asshole.

Come on, of all teams he goes to the Vikings.

I am still pissed the Jets never drafted that year so long ago, instead we took shitty Browning Nagle..........where the hell is he now??

  • Vikings Rock!

  • The DMV speaks the truth, when he is gone, for me, football will die.

  • Favre in my opinion did not betray the Packers. It is was the other way around. Management betrayed him. Brett needs no forgiveness on this one. I grew up a Packer fan. But now i follow Brett Favre no matter who he plays with.

  • Favre?

    Who DAT?!~

  • Favre betrayed pack?? Favre WANTED to come bck to GB before this season but GB wanted rodgers to start, he went to Minnesota to get revenge on mike and ted, I've been a Favre fan 4 a long time, and i always will be; Football will die when FAVRE dies

  • then go die already and let REAL FOOTBALL FANS(not favre bandwagoneers) talk football!

  • i hope brett beats the pack today!

  • The REAL question is: WHO will the Packers BLAME this year if they tank to 6-10 and don't make the playoffs...? ANSWER. Butt-HeadTed. His drafts have been deplorable. Carrol BUST ! Harrel BUST ! Hawk; becoming a BUST ! {he's down to 20 plays a game} Rodgers fell into his lap..! NO ONE wanted him. He's had 3 years to watch and learn and that was a TREMENDOUS advantage...! BHT couldn't pick a winner if you stuck it in his NOSE....!!!!

MIKE HOLMGREN COME BACK AND SAVE OUR PACK....!!!

  • FACT IS: Butt-HeadTed did NOT want Favre from day one! After he had Rodgers fall into his lap on draft day the move to get Favre OUT of GB was on. Favre wanted Moss BHT said "NO". Favre wanted the O-Line to stay. BHT got rid of all of them. Favre wanted Mariucci to at least get an interview BHT said NO.

What if favre stays and goes to all the mini camps and says i'll play 3 more years..! Now you have the delima of having to trade favre or Rodgers who was in a contract year and wanted to play.

  • Now the Pack is in a very sticky situation for one of the 2 has to GO...! Favre won't take the bench and Rodgers wants to start. It fell into mgmts favor to have Favre play the retirement card as it gave them the window they wanted. They played Victim of Favre's indecisiveness and said "we must move on" They wanted to move on anyway but they knew the fans would NEVER side against favre on a level playing field. It worked out for BHT and MAC to side against Favre trade him and cry "victim"

  • I love Packer fans ha. It's like he turned his back on us after 16 years. You sent him to the Jets, after 16 years of playing his heart out thats how you return the favor. Who turned there back on who Packer nation? I wouldn't want to be a veteran player for G-Bay

  • Agree with 41057. Farve wanted to play, he still has it in him. But Packers did not want him anymore. Vikings do. in his shoes, what would you do? no need for forgiveness. he did not commit any sins. if fans need to get mad at anyone, get mad at the Packers team for letting him go. u just let go of the best QB ever you'd ever have. deal with it.

  • I completely agree with you! I'm still a Packers fan, but I'm still a Favre fan! Rodgers is gonna be a great QB! I just wish the team got rid of Mike Mc(Fatty)Carthy and Ted Thompson!!

  • nah not mccarthy he's a great coach to me, but thompsons kinda ehhhhhhhhhhhh

  • "Karibok" so true man so true favre is and forever will be great

  • he came back after his whole spiel and when they already started ota, thats why we got rid of him they already made rodgers the starter they werent going to push him, also rodgers has a year left in his career, favre comes and plays another year and both rodgers and favre leave? we need a future not a now situation, you vikings have favre now but after he leaves in a year or 2 no long term you'll be back with ur crappy QBs in jackson and booty or w/e rosenfelsssssssssssss

  • grown people getting butt hurt cuz their favorite pro athelete is playing for the "enemy" lol

  • What has he done to need forgiveness for ? The Packers told him they were going to go with Aaron Rogers...What did you want him to do ??

  • Farve Rocks!!

  • the last throw by Favre as a packer was an interception....

  • This is a game. Geez.
