Being the the master of the urge to devour means there is no need to devour... it's become voluntary and hence not really being worse the a spirit eater unless you voluntarily go around eating everything. Though still best ending.

I just played through mask of the betrayer and i didnt get to choose the devour faceless man cause my choices throughout the game had been neutral. This is the ending i intented to get!

When I completed the game - evil ending too - I was completely alone, because I'd chopped Kaelyn, Safiyah and Okku, and I hadn't even realised One of Many existed because I'd just devoured all the spirits from where it is created. And of course I got to chop Gann at the ending here, but he was all by his lonesome against me.

Yeah sure a 'great host' of gods, what gods? Crappy demigods from some backwater gnome pantheon? Please, nothing can defeat Mystra in a straightfoward 1v1 fight.

@ssdiothor Well apparently someone did, if 4E is to be believed (but it isn't, fuck 4E).

@ssdiothor you know, Mystra was killed once by mere human mage, who wanted to claim her domain. She was dead for, like, 2 sec but it was enough to destroy all floating cities, 'coz all magic in feyrun dissapeared for a while. But yeah, nothing can defeat Mystra now, as she revived and killed the mage.

Pretty sure the spirit eater would just devour Lady of Pain. My party was much harder to kill though :\. Nasty surprise coded into TonyK's AI. They cast death ward / energy immunity negative on everyone.

I used mods, but not any to change how the game looks. I have quite a good computer so that might have helped.

@kissemurra12 Custom built, just finished putting it together 4 months ago. Custom built computers are usually better and cost less, since the companies charge alot more for simple things.

Lady of Pain "IS" a spirit. So, I'd guess she'd be running away screaming from the Spirit EATER. lol

But still, if what midgetydeath says is true, and LoP would get owned, i doubt Nameless one would stand a chance either.

@balgeron1987 Because she's a spirit, ofc she'd be no match for the spirit eater. TNO, on the other hand, is something entirely different, depending on what choices you made. Immortal, millennias old and responsible for some pretty grandeur stuff, most likely. Although considering how strong Demogorgon, the supposedly strongest demon-lord, is supposed to be and how easily the bhaalspawn can dispatch of him as well as gain himself a place among the gods, I'd still root for him. ;]

Devouring gods, what a fun pastime. One of the best endings in a game I've ever seen, becoming an elder evil never felt as fun.
