Just managed to reconfigure this old camcorder so it records video in, instead :P doesn't help me on beatmania (maybe on Pop'n), but it's still much more useful.
Still investigating the best way to do videos using my EOS 5Dm2 with various lenses, but for the most part there's no more to do - unless there's requests.
Also I like the way how if you pause at 2:05 you can see one frame where the tape corrupts and beatmania ClubMIX is partially visible.

it gets funnier every time because the machine says BREAK DOWN and then the camcorder goes down and it breaks.
