While I dislike the dub of Cardcaptor Sakura for various reasons, I feel that this opening is pretty much the best thing to come out of that dub.

I know what you mean, I watched the show in japenese a little while ago and now I can't watch the english version of it, except for the last movie, because they actually got voices that fit the characters much more an sounded like their japanese counterparts.

You can tell the english version was made a lot later then the JA, there is so much CG in the english one. And even though its a lot different, the english version is still worthwhile, maybe not if your obsessed with homosexuality, but other than that...

i dont think its pathetic, i like the japanese original dub, but i love the english dub cuz i can comprehend things said much better of course, despite the english subs in japan version. I like the voice of sakura's actress. The English dubs of anime can usually be seen as dissapointing, but i like some of them cuz sometimes the actors sound really good, and you just become endeared to the USA soundtrack. No one tops English dubs sakura voice actoress.
