  • Haha Larry David you're great!

  • Saw the Bare Midriff and I heard this song. Thought it was cool. I teach in a school in the Gaelic language and this has the exact same verse as one of the hymns we teach the kids. Couldn't help but love the irony. Great little tune.

  • @MsDiygirl it's from "The Human Jungle" (1954) starring Chuck Conners, Gary Merril and Ann Sterling. That's what Jennifer Aniston said to Angelina about Brad Pitt, don't say nothin' bad about my baby.

    N7M (from Brazil).

  • What a great group...I've been playing this song for years.. I love it!! So very sorry to hear about Dorothy; however, what a wonderful time she must have had and, to have had all those wonderful experiences, memories....that was such a special time in music...wow. Thanks Dorothy.

  • what a schmoehawk!

  • My mother was the founder of "The Cookies."

  • @2realformost We just learned today of Dorothy's passing. You have my deepest sympathies. She sang a good song and will be missed!

  • @2realformost Are you serious??? :D

  • @2realformost . Hi. I hope you don't mind me hitting you up...I have a lot of respect for gals like your mom. Did she tell you much of what it was like for her? Are you a musician or singer? Which 'Cookie' was your mom?

  • My mother Dorothy (Jones) Johnson was the founder of "The Cookies."

oh yeah and that kid got some problems '

Gona stab him, coz he said my hair looks shit!'

  • One of my favorite oldies by one of the best and most undderrated Girl Groups. Plus it contains one of my favorite song lyrics from any era: "So girl, you better shut your mouth."

Whoever wrote those lyrics must have been hanging out at my high school.

  • @caraphyllis

    Carole King did haha

  • @TheCrazyadam15 thought she wrote the music and her husband david geffen wrote the lyrics?

  • hey does any1 no wat dat movie is called ?

  • don't they become the raylettes?

  • aah the good ole 50s. now america is becoming a third world country.....

  • folks were paranoid in 50s also

  • Correction: it already IS a third world country. Go to the poorest parts of any major city in America and you will see what I mean. This makes us long for the 50s and, for me, the 60s. And to my fave Brother Ray Charles, you could never get the sound Carole King and company did when you took part of The Cookies and made them The Raelettes. The Cookies with Carole King rule!

  • @KojiRecords Ray got his own sound with them. Man, did he ever! Check out the clips of their concert in Israel for some sangin'.

  • the cookies are from BROOKLYN!The best borough in the world!Everyone should visit Bed-Stuy my neighborhood

  • say it on cye lol

  • I join my friends here in full agreement on your vid!
