actually the greatest rivalry is prob amry vs navy. not as well watched today but of all time. it has more history and meaning than prob any college game of sports. every fan has their opinion of the greatest rivalry but everyone knows how important that game is
ok i am a buckeye fan, BUT DONT GIVE ME CRAP!!! bcuz i love the SEC. So dont hate me. look i love the iron bowl matchup. it is great. but if u lived in ohio or michigan u would know what that rivalry means. except of ocurse for the recent matchup in 08. which was pretty sad lol. and yes my whole family are buckeye fans, which is why i am. And dont say crap bout my family either. it sux in ohio i'll admit it. yes we're overrated, now stop crap bout OSU!!!!!!
The FACT is that an overwhelming majority of football experts and other people around the country say that OSU-Michigan is the greatest rivalry in college sports. Go look at the polls. Then tell me what you're saying is a fact.
Plus teams like Alabama and Notre Dame are "has beens".

Last I heard everyone but the media is sick of seeing the "mighty" Buckeyes ease there way into a National Championship game by playing weak Little 10 teams...only to get their asses handed to them by real football teams. If OSU were in the SEC, they'd be in the middle of the pack at best.

Ohio State vs. Mich*gan is widely known as the Greatest rivalry in ALL OF SPORTS.
End of Story.
Ohio St. & Mich. have played EVERY year since 1900. AU & UA went a period of over 40 years without even playing eachother.
Some rivalries are big in the south, but a vast majority of people nationally haven't heard the name Auburn spoken since Bo Jackson.
